- 4 Ach, pronárode hříšný, lide obtížený vinou, potomstvo zlovolníků, synové šířící zkázu! Opustili Hospodina, Svatého, Boha Izraele, znevážili, odcizili se mu.
- 5 Nač vás ještě bít? Jste jen umíněnější. Hlava je celá chorá a celé srdce zemdlené.
- 6 Od hlavy až k patě nic zdravého není. Samá modřina a jizva i čerstvá rána, nejsou vymačkány ani obvázány ani ošetřeny olejem.
- 7 Vaše země je zpustošená, vaše města vypálená ohněm, vaši půdu vám před očima vyžírají cizáci; je zpustošená, cizáky podvrácená.

- 11 „K čemu je mi množství vašich obětních hodů, praví Hospodin. Přesytil jsem se zápalných obětí beranů i tuku vykrmených dobytčat, nemám zájem o krev býčků, beránků a kozlů.
- 12 Že se mi chodíte ukazovat! Kdo po vás chce, abyste šlapali má nádvoří?
- 13 Nepřinášejte už šalebné obětní dary, kouř kadidla je mi ohavností, i novoluní, dny odpočinku a svolaná shromáždění; ničemnost a slavnostní shromáždění, to nemohu vystát.
- 14 Z duše nenávidím vaše novoluní a slavnosti, jsou mi jen na obtíž, jsem vyčerpán, když je musím snášet.

15 Když rozprostíráte své dlaně, zakrývám si před vámi oči. Ať se modlíte sebevíc, neslyším. Vaše ruce jsou celé od krve.

- 20 Když však odmítnete a budete se zpěčovat, bude vás požírat meč.“ Tak promluvila Hospodinova ústa.
- 21 Běda! Nevěstkou se stalo město věrné! Bývalo plné práva, přebývala v něm spravedlnost, teď jsou v něm vrahové.
- 22 Tvé stříbro se stalo struskou, tvé víno je smíšené s vodou,
- 23 tvoji velmoži jsou umíněnci, spolčenci zlodějů. Kdekdo miluje úplatek a rád bere dary; sirotkovi právo nezjednají a pře vdovy se k nim nedostane.
- 24 Takový je výrok Pána, Hospodina zástupů, Přesilného, Boha Izraele: „Ach, jak se potěším na svých protivnících, vykonám pomstu na svých nepřátelích!
- 25 Obrátím na tebe svou ruku, vytavím tvou strusku, jako louhem odloučím všechny tvé přimíšeniny.
- 26 A vrátím ti soudce, jako byli na počátku, tvoje rádce, jako byli zprvu; pak tě budou nazývat městem spravedlnosti, městem věrným.“
- 27 Sijón bude vykoupen soudem a ti v něm, kdo se obrátí, spravedlností.
- 28 Zkáza nevěrných a hříšníků však bude stejná, zajdou ti, kdo opustili Hospodina.
- 29 Budou zahanbeni pro mohutné stromy, po nichž jste dychtili, budete se stydět za zahrady, které jste si zvolili.
- 30 Budete jako posvátný strom, jemuž vadne listí, jako zahrada, v níž není vody.
- 31 Nejzdatnější bude koudelí a jeho skutky jiskrou; vzplane spolu obojí a nikdo to neuhasí.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
