Johannes' Åbenbaring 1

- 17 Og der jeg saae ham, faldt jeg ned for hans Fødder som en Død; og han lagde sin høire Haand paa mig og sagde til mig:
- 18 frygt ikke! Jeg er den Første og den Sidste og de Levende; og jeg var død, og see, jeg er levende i al Evighed! Amen. Og jeg haver Helvedes og Dødens Nøgler.
- 19 Skriv, hvad du saae, baade det som er, og det som skal skee herefter;
- 20 de syv Stjerners Hemmelighed, hvilke du haver seet i min høire Haand, og de syv Guldlysestager. De syv Stjerner ere de syv Menigheders Engle, og de syv Lysestager, som du saae, ere de syv Menigheder.
