- 1 E fallou o Senhor a Moysés e a Aarão, dizendo:
- 2 Toma a somma dos filhos de Kohath, do meio dos filhos de Levi, pelas suas gerações, segundo a casa de seus paes;
- 3 Da edade de trinta annos e para cima até aos cincoenta annos será todo aquelle que entrar n'este exercito, para fazer obra na tenda da congregação.
- 4 Este será o ministerio dos filhos de Kohath na tenda da congregação, nas coisas sanctissimas.
- 5 Quando partir o arraial, Aarão e seus filhos virão, e tirarão o véu da coberta, e com elle cobrirão a arca do testemunho;
- 6 E pôr-lhe-hão por cima uma coberta de pelles de teixugos, e sobre ella estenderão um panno, todo d'azul, e lhe metterão os varaes.
- 7 Tambem sobre a mesa da proposição estenderão um panno d'azul: e sobre ella porão os pratos os seus incensarios, e as taças e escudellas; tambem o pão continuo estará sobre ella.
- 8 Depois estenderão em cima d'elles um panno de carmezim, e com a coberta de pelles de teixugos o cobrirão, e lhe porão os seus varaes.
- 9 Então tomarão um panno d'azul, e cobrirão o castiçal da luminaria, e as suas lampadas, e os seus espivitadores, e os seus apagadores, e todos os seus vasos d'azeite, com que o servem.
- 10 E metterão, a elle e a todos os seus vasos, na coberta de pelles de teixugos: e o porão sobre os varaes.
- 11 E sobre o altar d'oiro estenderão um panno d'azul, e com a coberta de pelles de teixugos o cobrirão, e lhe porão os seus varaes.
- 12 Tambem tomarão todos os vasos do ministerio, com que servem no sanctuario; e os porão n'um panno d'azul, e os cobrirão com uma coberta de pelles de teixugos, e os porão sobre os varaes.
- 13 E tirarão as cinzas do altar, e por cima d'elle estenderão um panno de purpura.
- 14 E sobre elle porão todos os seus instrumentos com que o servem: os seus brazeiros, os garfos, e as pás, e as bacias; todos os vasos do altar: e por cima d'elle estenderão uma coberta de pelles de teixugos, e lhe porão os seus varaes.
- 15 Havendo pois Aarão e seus filhos, ao partir do arraial, acabado de cobrir o sanctuario, e todos os instrumentos do sanctuario, então os filhos de Kohath virão para leval-o; mas no sanctuario não tocarão, para que não morram: este é o cargo dos filhos de Kohath na tenda da congregação.
- 16 Porém o cargo d'Eleasar, filho d'Aarão, o sacerdote, será o azeite da luminaria, e o incenso aromatico, e a continua offerta dos manjares, e azeite da uncção, o cargo de todo o tabernaculo, e de tudo que n'elle ha, no sanctuario e nos seus vasos.
- 17 E fallou o Senhor a Moysés e a Aarão, dizendo:
- 18 Não deixareis extirpar a tribu das gerações dos kohatitas do meio dos levitas.
- 19 Mas isto lhes fareis, para que vivam e não morram, quando chegarem á Sanctidade das Sanctidades: Aarão e seus filhos virão, e a cada um porão no seu ministerio e no seu cargo.
- 20 Porem não entrarão a ver, quando cobrirem o sanctuario, para que não morram.
- 21 Fallou mais o Senhor a Moysés, dizendo:
- 22 Toma tambem a somma dos filhos de Gerson, segundo a casa de seus paes, segundo as suas gerações;
- 23 Da edade de trinta annos e para cima, até aos cincoenta, contarás a todo aquelle que entrar a servir no seu serviço, para administrar o ministerio na tenda da congregação.
- 24 Este será o ministerio das gerações dos gersonitas, no serviço e no cargo.
- 25 Levarão pois as cortinas do tabernaculo, e a tenda da congregação, e a sua coberta, e a coberta de pelles de teixugos, que está em cima sobre elle, e o véu da porta da tenda da congregação,
- 26 E as cortinas do pateo, e o véu da porta do pateo, que está junto ao tabernaculo, e junto ao altar em redor, e as suas cordas, e todos os instrumentos do seu ministerio, com tudo o que se adereçar para elles, para que ministrem.

- 28 Este é o ministerio das gerações dos filhos dos gersonitas na tenda da congregação: e a sua guarda será debaixo da mão d'Ithamar, filho d'Aarão, o sacerdote.
- 29 Quanto aos filhos de Merari, segundo as suas gerações e segundo a casa de seus paes os contarás;
- 30 Da edade de trinta annos e para cima, até aos cincoenta, contarás a todo aquelle que entrar n'este serviço, para administrar o ministerio da tenda da congregação.
- 31 Esta pois será a guarda do seu cargo, segundo todo o seu ministerio, na tenda da congregação: as taboas do tabernaculo, e os seus varaes, e as suas columnas, e as suas bases;
- 32 Como tambem as columnas do pateo em redor, e as suas bases, e as suas estacas, e as suas cordas, com todos os seus instrumentos, e com todo o seu ministerio; e contareis os vasos da guarda do seu cargo, nome por nome.
- 33 Este é o ministerio das gerações dos filhos de Merari, segundo todo o seu ministerio, na tenda da congregação, debaixo da mão d'Ithamar, filho d'Aarão, o sacerdote.
- 34 Moysés, pois, e Aarão e os principes da congregação contaram os filhos dos kohathitas, segundo as suas gerações e segundo a casa de seus paes;
- 35 Da edade de trinta annos e para cima, até ao cincoenta, todo aquelle que entrou n'este serviço, para o ministerio da tenda da congregação.
- 36 Os que d'elles foram contados, pois, segundo as sua gerações, foram dois mil e setecentos e cincoenta.
- 37 Estes são os que foram contados das gerações dos kohathitas, de todo aquelle que ministrava na tenda da congregação, os quaes contaram Moysés e Aarão, conforme ao mandado do Senhor pela mão de Moysés.
- 38 Similhantemente os que foram contados dos filhos de Gerson, segundo as suas gerações, e segundo a casa de seus paes,
- 39 Da edade de trinta annos e para cima, até aos cincoenta, todo aquelle que entrou n'este serviço, para o ministerio na tenda da congregação.
- 40 Os que d'elles foram contados, segundo as suas gerações, segundo a casa de seus paes, foram dois mil e seiscentos e trinta.
- 41 Estes são os contados das gerações dos filhos de Gerson, de todo aquelle que ministrava na tenda da congregação: os quaes contaram Moysés e Aarão, conforme ao mandado do Senhor
- 42 E os que foram contados das gerações dos filhos de Merari, segundo as suas gerações, segundo a casa de seus paes;
- 43 Da edade de trinta annos e para cima, até aos cincoenta, todo aquelle que entrou n'este serviço, para o ministerio na tenda da congregação.
- 44 Foram pois os que foram d'elles contados, segundo as suas gerações, tres mil e duzentos.
- 45 Estes são os contados das gerações dos filhos de Merari: os quaes contaram Moysés e Aarão, conforme ao mandado do Senhor, pela mão de Moysés.
- 46 Todos os que d'elles foram contados, que contaram Moysés e Aarão, e os principes de Israel, dos levitas, segundo as suas gerações, segundo a casa de seus paes;
- 47 Da edade de trinta annos e para cima, até aos cincoenta, todo aquelle que entrava a executar o ministerio da administração, e o ministerio do cargo na tenda da congregação.
- 48 Os que d'elles foram contados foram oito mil quinhentos e oitenta.
- 49 Conforme ao mandado do Senhor, pela mão de Moysés, foram contados, cada qual segundo o seu ministerio, e segundo o seu cargo: e foram, os que d'elles foram contados, aquelles que o Senhor ordenara a Moysés.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
