- 1 HERREN talede til Moses og Aron og sagde:
- 2 Optag blandt Leviterne Tallet paa Kehatiterne efter deres Slægter, efter deres Fædrenehuse,
- 3 fra Trediveaarsalderen og opefter til Halvtredsaarsalderen, alle, der skal gøre Tjeneste med' at udføre Arbejde ved Aabenbaringsteltet.
- 4 Kehatiternes Arbejde ved Aabenbaringsteltet skal være med de højhellige Ting.
- 5 Naar Lejren bryder op, skal Aron og hans Sønner gaa ind og tage det indre Forhæng ned og tildække Vidnesbyrdets Ark dermed;
- 6 ovenover skal de lægge et Dække af Tahasjskind og derover igen brede et ensfarvet violet Purpurklæde; derpaa skal de stikke Bærestængerne ind.
- 7 Og over Skuebrødsbordet skal de brede et violet Purpurklæde og stille Fadene, Kanderne, Skaalene og Krukkerne til Drikofferet derpaa, og Brødet, som stadig skal ligge fremme, skal ligge derpaa;
- 8 ovenover skal de brede et karmoisinrødt Klæde og dække dette til med et Dække af Tahasjskind; derpaa skal de stikke Bærestængerne ind.
- 9 Saa skal de tage et violet Purpurklæde og dermed tildække Lysestagen, dens Lamper, Sakse, Bakker og alle Oliekrukkerne, de Ting, som bruges ved Betjeningen deraf,
- 10 og de skal lægge den med alt dens Tilbehør i et Dække af Tahasjskind og saa lægge det paa Bærebøren.
- 11 Over Guldalteret skal de ligeledes brede et violet Purpurklæde og dække dette til med et Dække af Tahasjskind; derpaa skal de stikke Bærestængerne ind.
- 12 Og de skal tage alle Redskaber, som bruges ved Tjenesten i Helligdommen, og lægge dem i et violet Purpurklæde og dække dem til med et Dække af Tahasjskind og lægge dem paa Bærebøren.
- 13 Fremdeles skal de rense Alteret for Aske og brede et rødt Purpurklæde derover
- 14 og paa det lægge alle Redskaberne, som bruges til Tjenesten derved, Panderne, Gaflerne, Skovlene og Skaalene, alle Alterets Redskaber, og derover skal de brede et Dække af Tahasjskind; derpaa skal de stikke Bærestængerne ind.
- 15 Naar saa ved Lejrens Opbrud Aron og hans Sønner er færdige med at tilhylle de hellige Ting og alle de hellige Redskaber, skal Kehatiterne træde til og bære dem; men de maa ikke røre ved de hellige Ting; thi gør de det, skal de dø. Det er, hvad Kehatiterne skal bære af Aabenbaringsteltet.
- 16 Men Eleazar, Præsten Arons Søn, paahviler Tilsynet med Olien til Lysestagen, den vellugtende Røgelse, det daglige Afgrødeoffer og Salveolien og desuden Tilsynet med hele Boligen og alt, hvad der er deri af hellige Ting og deres Tilbehør.
- 17 HERREN talede til Moses og Aron og sagde:
- 18 Sørg for, at Kehatiternes Slægters Stamme ikke udryddes af Leviternes Midte!
- 19 Saaledes skal I forholde eder med dem, for at de kan blive i Live og undgaa Døden, naar de nærmer sig de højhellige Ting: Aron og hans Sønner skal træde til og anvise hver enkelt af dem, hvad han skal gøre, og hvad han skal bære,
- 20 for at de ikke et eneste Øjeblik skal komme til at se de hellige Ting; thi gør de det, skal de dø.
- 21 HERREN talede til Moses og sagde:
- 22 Optag ogsaa Tallet paa Gersoniterne efter deres Fædrenehuse, efter deres Slægter;
- 23 fra Trediveaarsalderen og opefter til Halvtredsaarsalderen skal du mønstre dem, alle, der skal gøre Tjeneste med at udføre Arbejdet ved Aabenbaringsteltet.
- 24 Dette er Gersoniternes Arbejde, hvad de skal gøre, og hvad de skal bære:
- 25 De skal bære Boligens Tæpper, Aabenbaringsteltet med dets Dække og Dækket af Tahasjskind ovenover, Forhænget til Aabenbaringsteltets Indgang,

Danish translation of the Old Testament authorized in 1931 by the Danish King, with the New Testment being the authorized Danish version from 1907.
The NT is based on an entirely new OCR-scanning of an edition with Latin typographic (not Fraktur). The NT has subsequently been thoroughly proof-read and hand-corrected, and footnotes
as well as tables of contents for each chapter have been added.
The OT is based on an OCR-scan from the late 1980s, scanned from a typographically deficient
edition from 1933. OCR-scanning done and proof-read by a Danish pioneering couple with a heart
for media-missions. It was placed on the Internet by Søren Horn in the early 1990s, from
where it was picked up by Projekt Runeberg at Linköping University. Ulrik Sandborg-Petersen picked
up the text in the mid-2000's, and has since then hand-corrected literally thousands of OCR-mistakes
and paragraphing issues.
Both the OT and the NT retain the original orthography.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
