1 Chci vám připomenout, bratří, evangelium, které jsem vám zvěstoval, které jste přijali, které je základem, na němž stojíte,
Eyewitnesses of the truth of scripture which is God's Word - 2 a skrze něž docházíte spásy, držíte-li se ho tak, jak jsem vám je zvěstoval - vždyť jste přece neuvěřili nadarmo.
- 3 Odevzdal jsem vám především, co jsem sám přijal, že Kristus zemřel za naše hříchy podle Písem
- 4 a byl pohřben; byl vzkříšen třetího dne podle Písem,
- 5 ukázal se Petrovi, potom Dvanácti.
- 6 Poté se ukázal více než pěti stům bratří najednou; většina z nich je posud na živu, někteří však již zesnuli.
- 7 Pak se ukázal Jakubovi, potom všem apoštolům.
- 8 Naposledy ze všech se jako nedochůdčeti ukázal i mně.
- 9 Vždyť já jsem nejmenší z apoštolů a nejsem ani hoden jména apoštol, protože jsem pronásledoval církev Boží.
- 10 Milostí Boží jsem to, co jsem, a milost, kterou mi prokázal, nebyla nadarmo; více než oni všichni jsem se napracoval - nikoli já, nýbrž milost Boží, která byla se mnou.
- 11 Ať už tedy já, nebo oni - tak zvěstujeme a tak jste uvěřili.
- 12 Když se tedy zvěstuje o Kristu, že byl vzkříšen, jak mohou někteří mezi vámi říkat, že není zmrtvýchvstání?
- 13 Není-li zmrtvýchvstání, pak nebyl vzkříšen ani Kristus.
- 14 A jestliže Kristus nebyl vzkříšen, pak je naše zvěst klamná, a klamná je i vaše víra,
- 15 a my jsme odhaleni jako lživí svědkové o Bohu: dosvědčili jsme, že Bůh vzkřísil Krista, ale on jej nevzkřísil, není-li vzkříšení z mrtvých.
- 16 Neboť není-li vzkříšení z mrtvých, nebyl vzkříšen ani Kristus.
- 17 Nebyl-li však Kristus vzkříšen, je vaše víra marná, ještě jste ve svých hříších,
- 18 a jsou ztraceni i ti, kteří zesnuli v Kristu.
- 19 Máme-li naději v Kristu jen pro tento život, jsme nejubožejší ze všech lidí!
- 20 Avšak Kristus byl vzkříšen jako první z těch, kdo zesnuli.
- 21 A jako vešla do světa smrt skrze člověka, tak i zmrtvýchvstání:
- 22 jako v Adamovi všichni umírají, tak v Kristu všichni dojdou života.
- 23 Každý v daném pořadí: první vstal Kristus, potom při Kristově příchodu vstanou ti, kdo jsou jeho.
- 24 Tu nastane konec, až Kristus zruší vládu všech mocností a sil a odevzdá království Bohu a Otci.
- 25 Musí totiž kralovat, ‚dokud Bůh nepodmaní všechny nepřátele pod jeho nohy‘.
- 26 Jako poslední nepřítel bude přemožena smrt,
- 27 vždyť ‚pod nohy jeho podřídil všecko‘. Je-li řečeno, že je mu podřízeno všecko, je jasné, že s výjimkou toho, kdo mu všecko podřídil.
- 28 Až mu bude podřízeno všecko, pak i sám Syn se podřídí tomu, kdo mu všecko podřídil, a tak bude Bůh všecko ve všem.
- 29 Jaký by jinak mělo smysl to, že se někteří dávají křtít za mrtvé? Jestliže mrtví vůbec nevstanou, proč se za ně dávají křtít?
- 30 A proč i my se v každou hodinu vydáváme v nebezpečí?
- 31 Den ze dne hledím smrti do tváře - ujišťuji vás o tom, bratří, při všem, co pro mne znamenáte, v Kristu Ježíši, našem Pánu!
- 32 Jestliže jsem v Efezu podstoupil zápas se šelmami jen z lidských pohnutek, co mi to prospěje? Jestliže mrtví nevstanou, pak ‚jezme a pijme, neboť zítra zemřeme‘.

33 Neklamte se: ‚špatná společnost kazí dobré mravy‘.
Evil communications defile us - 34 Vystřízlivějte, jak se sluší, a nehřešte. Někteří nemají ani ponětí o Bohu. Říkám to k vašemu zahanbení!
- 35 Ale někdo snad řekne: „Jak vstanou mrtví? V jakém těle přijdou?“
- 36 Jaká pošetilost! To, co zaséváš, nebude oživeno, jestliže neumře.
- 37 A co zaséváš, není tělo, které vzejde, nýbrž holé zrno, ať už pšenice nebo nějaké jiné rostliny.
- 38 Bůh však mu dává tělo, jak sám určil, každému semeni jeho zvláštní tělo.
- 39 Není jedno tělo jako druhé, nýbrž jiné tělo mají lidé, jiné zvířata, jiné ptáci, jiné ryby.
- 40 A jsou tělesa nebeská a tělesa pozemská, ale jiná je sláva nebeských a jiná pozemských.
- 41 Jiná je záře slunce a jiná měsíce, a ještě jiná je záře hvězd, neboť hvězda od hvězdy se liší září.
- 42 Tak je to i se zmrtvýchvstáním. Co je zaseto jako pomíjitelné, vstává jako nepomíjitelné.
- 43 Co je zaseto v poníženosti, vstává v slávě. Co je zaseto v slabosti, vstává v moci.
- 44 Zasévá se tělo přirozené, vstává tělo duchovní. Je-li tělo přirozené, je i tělo duchovní.
- 45 Jak je psáno: ‚První člověk Adam se stal duší živou‘ - poslední Adam je však Duchem oživujícím.
- 46 Nejprve tedy není tělo duchovní, nýbrž přirozené, pak teprve duchovní.
- 47 První člověk byl z prachu země, druhý člověk z nebe.
- 48 Jaký byl ten pozemský, takoví jsou i ostatní na zemi, a jaký je ten nebeský, takoví i ostatní v nebesích.
- 49 A jako jsme nesli po dobu pozemského, tak poneseme i podobu nebeského.
- 50 Chci říci to, bratří, že člověk, jak je, nemůže mít podíl na království Božím a pomíjitelné nemůže mít podíl na nepomíjitelném.
- 51 Hle, odhalím vám tajemství: Ne všichni zemřeme, ale všichni budeme proměněni,
- 52 naráz, v okamžiku, až se naposled ozve polnice. Až zazní, mrtví budou vzkříšeni k nepomíjitelnosti a my živí proměněni.
- 53 Pomíjitelné tělo musí totiž obléci nepomíjitelnost a smrtelné nesmrtelnost.
- 54 A když pomíjitelné obleče nepomíjitelnost a smrtelné nesmrtelnost, pak se naplní, co je psáno: ‚Smrt je pohlcena, Bůh zvítězil!
- 55 Kde je, smrti, tvé vítězství? Kde je, smrti, tvá zbraň?‘
- 56 Zbraní smrti je hřích a hřích má svou moc ze zákona.
- 57 Chvála buď Bohu, který nám dává vítězství skrze našeho Pána Ježíše Krista!
- 58 A tak, moji milovaní bratří, buďte pevní, nedejte se zviklat, buďte stále horlivější v díle Páně; vždyť víte, že vaše práce není v Pánu marná.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
