- 1 Og han befalede den, som forestod hans Hus, og sagde: Fyld Mændenes Poser med Spise, efter som de kunne føre, og læg hvers Penge øverst i hans Pose!
- 2 Og min Skaal, den Sølvskaal, skal du lægge øverst i den yngstes Pose og Pengene for hans Korn; og han gjorde efter Josefs Ord, som han havde sagt.
- 3 Om Morgenen, der det blev lyst, bleve Mændene sendte bort, de og deres Asener.
- 4 Der de vare dragne ud af Staden og ikke vare komne langt, sagde Josef til den, som forestod hans Hus: Staa op, forfølg Mændene, og naar du naar dem, da skal du sige til dem: hvorfor have I betalt ondt for godt?

- 18 Da gik Juda frem til ham og sagde: Hør mig, min Herre! kære, lad din Tjener tale et Ord for min Herres Øren, og lad din Vrede ikke forhaste sig paa din I Tjener; thi du er ligesom Farao.
- 19 Min Herre spurgte sine Tjenere ad og sagde: Have I Fader eller Broder?
- 20 Da sagde vi til min Herre: Vi have en gammel Fader, og han har en ung Søn, han avlede i sin Alderdom; og hans Broder er død, og han er alene bleven igen efter sin Moder, og hans Fader har ham kær.
- 21 Da sagde du til dine Tjenere: Fører ham ned til mig, at jeg kan se ham.
- 22 Da sagde vi til min Herre: Den unge Mand kan ikke forlade sin Fader, dersom han forlader sin Fader, da dør denne.
- 23 Da sagde du til dine Tjenere: Dersom ikke eders yngste Broder kommer ned med eder, skulle I ikke se mit Ansigt mere.
- 24 Og det skete, at vi i fore op til din Tjener, min Fader, i og vi gave ham min Herres Tale i til Kende.

authorized translation of the New Testament from 1907. The text is based on entirely new
OCR-scans of editions typeset in Latin fonts, not Fraktur, followed by thorough
proof-reading
as well as addition of footnotes and tables of contents for each chapter. The original
orthography has been kept unchanged.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
