- 4 어 떤 행 인 이 그 부 자 에 게 오 매 부 자 가 자 기 의 양 과 소 를 아 껴 자 기 에 게 온 행 인 을 위 하 여 잡 지 아 니 하 고 가 난 한 사 람 의 양 새 끼 를 빼 앗 아 다 가 자 기 에 게 온 사 람 을 위 하 여 잡 았 나 이 다
- 5 다 윗 이 그 사 람 을 크 게 노 하 여 나 단 에 게 이 르 되 여 호 와 의 사 심 을 가 리 켜 맹 세 하 노 니 이 일 을 행 한 사 람 은 마 땅 히 죽 을 자 라
- 6 저 가 불 쌍 히 여 기 지 않 고 이 일 을 행 하 였 으 니 그 양 새 끼 를 사 배 나 갚 아 주 어 야 하 리 라
- 7 나 단 이 다 윗 에 게 이 르 되 당 신 이 그 사 람 이 라 이 스 라 엘 의 하 나 님 여 호 와 께 서 이 처 럼 이 르 시 기 를 내 가 너 로 이 스 라 엘 왕 을 삼 기 위 하 여 네 게 기 름 을 붓 고 너 를 사 울 의 손 에 서 구 원 하 고
- 8 네 주 인 의 집 을 네 게 주 고 네 주 인 의 처 들 을 네 품 에 두 고 이 스 라 엘 과 유 다 족 속 을 네 게 맡 겼 느 니 라 만 일 그 것 이 부 족 하 였 을 것 같 으 면 내 가 네 게 이 것 저 것 을 더 주 었 으 리 라
- 9 그 러 한 데 어 찌 하 여 네 가 여 호 와 의 말 씀 을 업 신 여 기 고 나 보 기 에 악 을 행 하 였 느 뇨 네 가 칼 로 헷 사 람 우 리 아 를 죽 이 되 암 몬 자 손 의 칼 로 죽 이 고 그 처 를 빼 앗 아 네 처 를 삼 았 도 다
- 10 이 제 네 가 나 를 업 신 여 기 고 헷 사 람 우 리 아 의 처 를 빼 앗 아 네 처 를 삼 았 은 즉 칼 이 네 집 에 영 영 히 떠 나 지 아 니 하 리 라 하 셨 고
- 11 여 호 와 께 서 또 이 처 럼 이 르 시 기 를 내 가 네 집 에 재 화 를 일 으 키 고 내 가 네 처 들 을 가 져 네 눈 앞 에 서 다 른 사 람 에 게 주 리 니 그 사 람 이 네 처 들 로 더 불 어 백 주 에 동 침 하 리 라
- 12 너 는 은 밀 히 행 하 였 으 나 나 는 이 스 라 엘 무 리 앞 백 주 에 이 일 을 행 하 리 라 하 셨 나 이 다
- 13 다 윗 이 나 단 에 게 이 르 되 내 가 여 호 와 께 죄 를 범 하 였 노 라 하 매 나 단 이 다 윗 에 게 대 답 하 되 여 호 와 께 서 도 당 신 의 죄 를 사 하 셨 나 니 당 신 이 죽 지 아 니 하 려 니 와
- 14 이 일 로 인 하 여 여 호 와 의 원 수 로 크 게 훼 방 할 거 리 를 얻 게 하 였 으 니 당 신 의 낳 은 아 이 가 정 녕 죽 으 리 이 다 하 고
- 15 나 단 이 자 기 집 으 로 돌 아 가 니 라 우 리 아 의 처 가 다 윗 에 게 낳 은 아 이 를 여 호 와 께 서 치 시 매 심 히 앓 는 지 라
- 16 다 윗 이 그 아 이 를 위 하 여 하 나 님 께 간 구 하 되 금 식 하 고 안 에 들 어 가 서 밤 새 도 록 땅 에 엎 드 렸 으 니
- 17 그 집 의 늙 은 자 들 이 곁 에 이 르 러 다 윗 을 일 으 키 려 하 되 왕 이 듣 지 아 니 하 고 저 희 로 더 불 어 먹 지 도 아 니 하 더 라
- 18 이 레 만 에 그 아 이 가 죽 으 니 라 그 러 나 다 윗 의 신 복 들 이 아 이 의 죽 은 것 을 왕 에 게 고 하 기 를 두 려 워 하 니 이 는 저 희 가 말 하 기 를 아 이 가 살 았 을 때 에 우 리 가 말 하 여 도 왕 이 그 말 을 듣 지 아 니 하 셨 나 니 어 떻 게 그 아 이 의 죽 은 것 을 고 할 수 있 으 랴 왕 이 훼 상 하 시 리 로 다
- 19 다 윗 이 그 신 복 들 의 서 로 수 군 거 리 는 것 을 보 고 그 아 이 가 죽 은 줄 을 깨 닫 고 그 신 복 들 에 게 묻 되 아 이 가 죽 었 느 냐 대 답 하 되 죽 었 나 이 다
- 20 다 윗 이 땅 에 서 일 어 나 몸 을 씻 고 기 름 을 바 르 고 의 복 을 갈 아 입 고 여 호 와 의 전 에 들 어 가 서 경 배 하 고 궁 으 로 돌 아 와 서 명 하 여 음 식 을 그 앞 에 베 풀 게 하 고 먹 은 지 라
- 21 신 복 들 이 왕 께 묻 되 아 이 가 살 았 을 때 에 는 위 하 여 금 식 하 고 우 시 더 니 죽 은 후 에 는 일 어 나 서 잡 수 시 니 어 찜 이 니 이 까
- 22 가 로 되 아 이 가 살 았 을 때 에 내 가 금 식 하 고 운 것 은 혹 시 여 호 와 께 서 나 를 불 쌍 히 여 기 사 아 이 를 살 려 주 실 는 지 누 가 알 까 생 각 함 이 어 니 와
- 23 시 방 은 죽 었 으 니 어 찌 금 식 하 랴 내 가 다 시 돌 아 오 게 할 수 있 느 냐 나 는 저 에 게 로 가 려 니 와 저 는 내 게 로 돌 아 오 지 아 니 하 리 라
- 24 다 윗 이 그 처 밧 세 바 를 위 로 하 고 저 에 게 들 어 가 동 침 하 였 더 니 저 가 아 들 을 낳 으 매 그 이 름 을 솔 로 몬 이 라 하 니 라 여 호 와 께 서 그 를 사 랑 하 사

- 28 이 제 왕 은 남 은 군 사 를 모 아 진 치 고 이 성 을 쳐 서 취 하 소 서 내 가 이 성 을 취 하 면 이 성 이 내 이 름 으 로 일 컬 음 을 받 을 까 두 려 워 하 나 이 다
