1. Könige 7
- 1 Aber an seinem Hause bauete Salomo dreizehn Jahre, daß er's ganz ausbauete.
- 2 Nämlich er bauete ein Haus vom Wald Libanon, hundert Ellen lang, fünfzig Ellen weit und dreißig Ellen hoch. Auf dasselbige Gevierte legte er den Boden von zedernen Brettern, auf zedernen Säulen, nach den Riegen hin,
- 3 und oben drauf ein Gezimmer von Zedern auf dieselben Säulen, welcher waren fünfundvierzig, je fünfzehn in einer Riege.
- 4 Und waren Fenster gegen die drei Riegen gegeneinander über, drei gegen drei.
- 5 Und waren in ihren Pfosten viereckig.
- 6 Er bauete auch eine Halle von Säulen, fünfzig Ellen lang und dreißig Ellen breit; und noch eine Halle vor diese, mit Säulen und dicken Balken.
- 7 Und bauete auch eine Halle zum Richtstuhl, darin man Gericht hielt; und täfelte beide Boden mit Zedern.
- 8 Dazu sein Haus, darinnen er wohnete, im Hinterhof, hinten an der Halle, gemacht wie die andern; und machte auch ein Haus, wie die Halle, der Tochter Pharaos, die Salomo zum Weibe genommen hatte.
- 9 Solches alles waren köstliche Steine, nach dem Winkeleisen gehauen, mit Sägen geschnitten von allen Seiten, vom Grund bis an das Dach, dazu auch außen der große Hof.
- 10 Die Grundfeste aber waren auch köstliche und große Steine, zehn und acht Ellen groß,
- 11 und darauf köstliche gehauene Steine nach dem Winkeleisen und Zedern.
- 12 Aber der große Hof umher hatte drei Riegen gehauene Steine und eine Riege von zedernen Brettern; also auch der Hof am Hause des HErrn inwendig und die Halle am Hause.
- 13 Und der König Salomo sandte hin und ließ holen Hiram von Tyrus,
- 14 einer Witwe Sohn aus dem Stamm Naphthali, und sein Vater war ein Mann von Tyrus gewesen; der war ein Meister im Erz, voll Weisheit, Verstand und Kunst, zu arbeiten allerlei Erzwerk. Da der zum Könige Salomo kam, machte er alle seine Werke.
- 15 Und machte zwo eherne Säulen, eine jegliche achtzehn Ellen hoch; und ein Faden von zwölf Ellen war das Maß um jegliche Säule her.
- 16 Und machte zween Knäufe von Erz gegossen, oben auf die Säulen zu setzen, und ein jeglicher Knauf war fünf Ellen hoch.
- 17 Und es waren an jeglichem Knauf oben auf der Säule sieben geflochtene Reife, wie Ketten.
- 18 Und machte an jeglichem Knauf zwo Riegen Granatäpfel umher an einem Reife, damit der Knauf bedeckt ward.
- 19 Und die Knäufe waren wie die Rosen vor der Halle, vier Ellen groß.
- 20 Und der Granatäpfel in den Riegen umher waren zweihundert, oben und unten an dem Reife, der um den Bauch des Knaufs herging, an jeglichem Knauf auf beiden Säulen.
- 21 Und er richtete die Säulen auf vor der Halle des Tempels. Und die er zur rechten Hand setzte, hieß er Jachin; und die er zur linken Hand setzte, hieß er Boas.
- 22 Und es stund also oben auf den Säulen wie Rosen. Also ward vollendet das Werk der Säulen.
- 23 Und er machte ein Meer, gegossen, zehn Ellen weit, von einem Rand zum andern, rund umher, und fünf Ellen hoch, und eine Schnur dreißig Ellen lang war das Maß ringsum.
- 24 Und um dasselbe Meer, das zehn Ellen weit war, gingen Knoten an seinem Rande rings ums Meer her; der Knoten aber waren zwo Riegen gegossen.
- 25 Und es stund auf zwölf Rindern, welcher drei gegen Mitternacht gewandt waren, drei gegen Abend, drei gegen Mittag und drei gegen Morgen, und das Meer oben drauf, daß alle ihr Hinterteil inwendig war.
- 26 Seine Dicke aber war eine Hand breit, und sein Rand war wie eines Bechers Rand, wie eine aufgegangene Rose; und ging drein zweitausend Bath.
- 27 Er machte auch zehn eherne Gestühle, ein jegliches vier Ellen lang und breit und drei Ellen hoch.
- 28 Es war aber das Gestühle also gemacht, daß es Seiten hatte zwischen den Leisten.
- 29 Und an den Seiten zwischen den Leisten waren Löwen, Ochsen und Cherubim. Und die Seiten, daran die Löwen und Ochsen waren, hatten Leisten oben und unten und Füßlein dran.
- 30 Und ein jeglich Gestühle hatte vier eherne Räder mit ehernem Gestell. Und auf den vier Ecken waren Achseln gegossen, eine jegliche gegen der andern über, unten an den Kessel gelehnt.
- 31 Aber der Hals mitten auf dem Gestühle war eine Elle hoch und rund anderthalb Ellen weit; und waren Buckeln an dem Hals in Feldern, die viereckig waren und nicht rund.
- 32 Die vier Räder aber stunden unten an den Seiten, und die Achsen der Räder waren am Gestühle. Ein jeglich Rad war anderthalb Ellen hoch.
- 33 Und waren Räder wie Wagenräder, und ihre Achsen, Naben, Speichen und Felgen war alles gegossen.
- 34 Und die vier Achseln auf den vier Ecken eines jeglichen Gestühls waren auch am Gestühle.
- 35 Und am Hals oben auf dem Gestühle, einer halben Elle hoch, rund umher, waren Leisten und Seiten am Gestühle.
- 36 Und er ließ auf die Fläche derselben Seiten und Leisten graben Cherubim, Löwen und Palmenbäume; ein jegliches am andern, rings umher dran.
- 37 Auf die Weise machte er zehn Gestühle, gegossen; einerlei Maß und Raum war an allen.
- 38 Und er machte zehn eherne Kessel, daß vierzig Bath in einen Kessel gingen; und war vier Ellen groß, und auf jeglichem Gestühle war ein Kessel.
- 39 Und setzte fünf Gestühle an die rechte Ecke des Hauses und die andern fünf an die linke Ecke; aber das Meer setzte er zur Rechten vorn an gegen Mittag.
- 40 Und Hiram machte auch Töpfe, Schaufeln, Becken; und vollendete also alle Werke, die der König Salomo am Hause des HErrn machen ließ,
- 41 nämlich: die zwo Säulen und die keulichen Knäufe oben auf den zwo Säulen und die zween geflochtenen Reife, zu bedecken die zween keulichen Knäufe auf den Säulen;
- 42 und die vierhundert Granatäpfel an den zween geflochtenen Reifen, je zwo Riegen Granatäpfel an einem Reife, zu bedecken die zween keulichen Knäufe auf den Säulen;
- 43 dazu die zehn Gestühle und zehn Kessel oben drauf;
- 44 und das Meer und zwölf Rinder unter dem Meer;
- 45 und die Töpfe, Schaufeln und Becken. Und alle diese Gefäße, die Hiram dem Könige Salomo machte zum Hause des HErrn, waren von lauterm Erz.
- 46 In der Gegend am Jordan ließ sie der König gießen, in dicker Erde, zwischen Suchoth und Zarthan.
- 47 Und Salomo ließ alle Gefäße ungewogen vor der sehr großen Menge des Erzes.
- 48 Auch machte Salomo allen Gezeug, der zum Hause des HErrn gehöret, nämlich: einen güldenen Altar, einen güldenen Tisch, darauf die Schaubrote liegen;
- 49 fünf Leuchter zur rechten Hand und fünf Leuchter zur linken vor dem Chor von lauterm Golde mit güldenen Blumen, Lampen und Schneuzen;
- 50 dazu Schalen, Schüsseln, Becken, Löffel und Pfannen von lauterm Golde. Auch waren die Angeln an der Tür am Hause inwendig im Allerheiligsten und an der Tür des Hauses des Tempels gülden.
- 51 Also ward vollendet alles Werk, das der König Salomo machte am Hause des HErrn. Und Salomo brachte hinein was sein Vater David geheiliget hatte, von Silber und Gold und Gefäßen, und legte es in den Schatz des Hauses des HErrn.

At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
