- 1 Da sang Debora und Barak der Sohn Abinoams, zu der Zeit und sprachen:
- 2 Lobet den HErrn, daß Israel wieder frei ist worden, und das Volk willig dazu gewesen ist.
- 3 Höret zu, ihr Könige, und merket auf ihr Fürsten! Ich will, dem HErrn will ich singen, dem HErrn, dem GOtt Israels, will ich spielen.
- 4 HErr, da du von Seir auszogest und einhergingest vom Felde Edoms, da erzitterte die Erde, der Himmel troff, und die Wolken troffen mit Wasser.
- 5 Die Berge ergossen sich vor dem HErrn, der Sinai vor dem HErrn, dem GOtt Israels.
- 6 Zu den Zeiten Samgars, des Sohns Anaths, zu den Zeiten Jaels, waren vergangen die Wege; und die da auf Pfaden gehen sollten, die wandelten durch krumme Wege.
- 7 Es gebrach, an Bauern gebrach's in Israel, bis daß ich, Debora, aufkam, bis ich aufkam, eine Mutter in Israel.
- 8 Ein Neues hat GOtt erwählet, er hat die Tore bestritten. Es war kein Schild noch Spieß unter vierzigtausend in Israel zu sehen.
- 9 Mein Herz ist wohl an den Regenten Israels, die freiwillig sind unter dem Volk. Lobet den HErrn,
- 10 die ihr auf schönen Eselinnen reitet, die ihr am Gericht sitzet und singet, die ihr auf dem Wege gehet.
- 11 Da die Schützen schrieen zwischen den Schöpfern, da sage man von der Gerechtigkeit des HErrn, von der Gerechtigkeit seiner Bauern in Israel; da zog des HErrn Volk herab zu den Toren.
- 12 Wohlauf, wohlauf, Debora, wohlauf, wohlauf, und singe ein Liedlein! Mache dich auf, Barak, und fange deine Fänger, du Sohn Abinoams!
- 13 Da herrschten die Verlassenen über die mächtigen Leute; der HErr hat geherrschet durch mich über die Gewaltigen.
- 14 Aus Ephraim war ihre Wurzel wider Amalek und nach dir, Benjamin, in deinem Volk. Von Machir sind Regenten kommen, und von Sebulon sind Regierer worden durch die Schreibfeder.
- 15 Und Fürsten zu Isaschar waren mit Debora. Und Isaschar war wie Barak im Grunde, gesandt mit seinem Fußvolk. Ruben hielt hoch von ihm und sonderte sich von uns.
- 16 Warum bleibest du zwischen den Hürden, zu hören das Blöken der Herde, und hältst groß von dir und sonderst dich von uns?
- 17 Gilead blieb jenseit des Jordans. Und warum wohnete Dan unter den Schiffen? Asser saß an der Anfurt des Meers und blieb in seinen zerrissenen Flecken.
- 18 Sebulons Volk aber wagte seine Seele in den Tod; Naphthali auch, in der Höhe des Feldes.
- 19 Die Könige kamen und stritten; da stritten die Könige der Kanaaniter zu Thaanach, am Wasser Megiddo; aber sie brachten keinen Gewinn davon.
- 20 Vom Himmel ward wider sie gestritten, die Sterne in ihren Läufen stritten wider Sissera.
- 21 Der Bach Kison wälzte sie, der Bach Kedumim, der Bach Kison. Tritt, meine Seele, auf die Starken!
- 22 Da rasselten der Pferde Füße vor dem Zagen ihrer mächtigen Reiter.
- 23 Fluchet der Stadt Meros, sprach der Engel des HErrn; fluchet ihren Bürgern, daß sie nicht kamen dem HErrn zu Hilfe, zu Hilfe dem HErrn zu den Helden!
- 24 Gesegnet sei unter den Weibern Jael, das Weib Hebers, des Keniters; gesegnet sei sie in der Hütte unter den Weibern.
- 25 Milch gab sie, da er Wasser forderte, und Butter brachte sie dar in einer herrlichen Schale.
- 26 Sie griff mit ihrer Hand den Nagel und mit ihrer Rechten den Schmiedehammer; und schlug Sissera durch sein Haupt und zerquetschte und durchbohrte seinen Schlaf.
- 27 Zu ihren Füßen krümmete er sich, fiel nieder und legte sich; er krümmete sich, fiel nieder zu ihren Füßen; wie er sich krümmete, so lag er verderbet.
- 28 Die Mutter Sisseras sah zum Fenster aus und heulete durchs Gitter: Warum verzeucht sein Wagen, daß er nicht kommt? Wie bleiben die Räder seiner Wagen so dahinten?
- 29 Die weisesten unter seinen Frauen antworteten, da sie ihre Klageworte immer wiederholte:
- 30 Sollen sie denn nicht finden und austeilen den Raub, einem jeglichen Mann eine Metze oder zwo zur Ausbeute, und Sissera bunte gestickte Kleider zur Ausbeute, gestickte bunte Kleider um den Hals zur Ausbeute?
- 31 Also müssen umkommen, HErr, alle deine Feinde! Die ihn aber liebhaben, müssen sein, wie die Sonne aufgehet in ihrer Macht! Und das Land war stille vierzig Jahre.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
