- 1 Or il arriva après cette plaie-là, que l'Eternel parla à Moïse, et à Eléazar, fils d'Aaron, le Sacrificateur, en disant :
- 2 Faites le dénombrement de toute l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël, depuis l'âge de vingt ans, et au dessus, selon les maisons de leurs pères, savoir de tous ceux d'Israël qui peuvent aller à la guerre.
- 3 Moïse donc et Eléazar le Sacrificateur leur parlèrent dans les campagnes de Moab, auprès du Jourdain de Jéricho, en disant :

- 19 Les enfants de Juda, Her, et Onan ; mais Her et Onan moururent au pays de Canaan.
- 20 Ainsi les enfants de Juda distingués par leurs familles, furent, de Séla, la famille des Sélanites ; de Pharès, la famille des Pharésites ; de Zara, la famille des Zarhites.
- 21 Et les enfants de Pharès furent, de Hetsron, la famille des Hetsronites ; et de Hamul, la famille des Hamulites.
- 22 Ce sont là les familles de Juda, selon leur dénombrement, qui fut de soixante et seize mille cinq cents.
- 23 Les enfants d'Issacar selon leurs familles. De Tolah, la famille des Tolahites ; de Puva, la famille des Puvites.
- 24 De Jasub, la famille des Jasubites ; de Simron, la famille des Simronites.
- 25 Ce sont là les familles d'Issacar, selon leur dénombrement, qui fut de soixante-quatre mille trois cents.
- 26 Les enfants de Zabulon, selon leurs familles. De Séred, la famille des Sérédites ; d'Elon, la famille des Elonites ; de Jahléel, la famille des Jahléélites.
- 27 Ce sont là les familles des Zabulonites, selon leur dénombrement, qui fut de soixante mille cinq cents.
- 28 Les enfants de Joseph, selon leurs familles, furent Manassé et Ephraïm.
- 29 Les enfants de Manassé. De Makir, la famille des Makirites ; et Makir engendra Galaad ; de Galaad, la famille des Galaadites.
- 30 Ce sont ici les enfants de Galaad ; de Ihézer, la famille des Ihézérites ; de Hélek, la famille des Hélékites.
- 31 D'Asriel, la famille des Asriélites ; de Sékem, la famille des Sékémites.
- 32 De Semidah, la famille des Semidahites ; de Hépher, la famille des Héphrites.
- 33 0r Tsélophcad, fils de Hépher, n'eut point de fils, mais des filles : et les noms des filles de Tsélophcad sont Mahla, Noha, Hogla, Milca, et Tirtsa.
- 34 Ce sont là les familles de Manassé, et leur dénombrement fut de cinquante-deux mille sept cents.
- 35 Ce sont ici les enfants d'Ephraïm, selon leurs familles. De Suthélah, la famille des Suthélahites ; de Béker, la famille des Bakrites ; de Tahan, la famille des Tahanites.
- 36 Et ce sont ici les enfants de Suthélah ; de Héran, la famille des Héranites.
- 37 Ce sont là les familles des enfants d'Ephraïm, selon leur dénombrement, qui furent trente-deux mille cinq cents. Ce sont là les enfants de Joseph, selon leurs familles.
- 38 Les enfants de Benjamin, selon leurs familles. De Bélah, la famille des Balhites ; d'Asbel, la famille des Asbélites ; d'Ahiram, la famille des Ahiramites.
- 39 De Séphupham, la famille des Séphuphamites ; de Hupham, la famille des Huphamites.
- 40 Et les enfants de Bélah furent Ard et Nahaman ; d'Ard, la famille des Ardites ; et de Nahaman, la famille des Nahamanites.
- 41 Ce sont là les enfants de Benjamin, selon leurs familles ; et leur dénombrement fut de quarante-cinq mille six cents.
- 42 Ce sont ici les enfants de Dan, selon leurs familles. De Suham, la famille des Suhamites ; ce sont là les familles de Dan, selon leurs familles.
- 43 Toutes les familles des Suhamites, selon leur dénombrement, furent soixante-quatre mille, et quatre cents.
- 44 Les enfants d'Aser, selon leurs familles. De Jimna, la famille des Jimnaïtes ; de Jisui, la famille des Jisuites ; de Bériah, la famille des Bériahites.
- 45 Des enfants de Bériah, de Héber, la famille des Hébrites ; de Malkiel, la famille des Malkiélites.
- 46 Et le nom de la fille d'Aser, fut Sérah.
- 47 Ce sont là les familles des enfants d'Aser, selon leur dénombrement, qui furent cinquante-trois mille quatre cents.
- 48 Les enfants de Nephthali, selon leurs familles. De Jahtséel, la famille des Jahtséélites ; de Guni, la famille des Gunites.
- 49 De Jetser la famille des Jitsrites ; de Sillem, la famille des Sillémites.
- 50 Ce sont là les familles de Nephthali, selon leurs familles, et leur dénombrement fut de quarante-cinq mille quatre cents.
- 51 Ce sont là les dénombrés des enfants d'Israël, qui furent six cent et un mille sept cent trente. Et l'Eternel parla à Moïse, en disant :
- 53 Le pays sera partagé à ceux-ci par héritage, selon le nombre des noms.
- 54 A ceux qui sont en plus grand nombre tu donneras plus d'héritage, et à ceux qui sont en plus petit nombre tu donneras moins d'héritage ; on donnera à chacun son héritage selon le nombre de ses dénombrés.
- 55 Toutefois que le pays soit divisé par sort, et qu'ils prennent leur héritage selon les noms des Tribus de leurs pères.
- 56 L'héritage de chacun sera selon que le sort le montrera, et on aura égard au plus grand et au plus petit nombre.
- 57 Et ce sont ici les dénombrés de Lévi selon leurs familles ; de Guerson, la famille des Guersonites ; de Kéhath, la famille des Kéhathites ; de Mérari, la famille des Mérarites.
- 58 Ce sont donc ici les familles de Lévi ; la famille des Libnites, la famille des Hébronites, la famille des Mahlites, la famille des Musites, la famille des Corhites. Or Kéhath engendra Hamram.
- 59 Et le nom de la femme de Hamram, fut Jokébed, fille de Lévi, qui naquit à Lévi en Egypte, et elle enfanta à Hamram, Aaron, Moïse, et Marie leur soeur.
- 60 Et à Aaron naquirent Nadab, Abihu, Eléazar et Ithamar.
- 61 Et Nadab et Abihu moururent en offrant du feu étranger devant l'Eternel.
- 62 Et tous les dénombrés des Lévites furent vingt-trois mille, tous mâles, depuis l'âge d'un mois, et au dessus, qui ne furent point dénombrés avec les autres enfants d'Israël, car on ne leur donna point d'héritage entre les enfants d'Israël.
- 63 Ce sont là ceux qui furent dénombrés par Moïse et Eléazar le Sacrificateur, qui firent le dénombrement des enfants d'Israël aux campagnes de Moab, près du Jourdain de Jéricho.
- 64 Entre lesquels il ne s'en trouva aucun de ceux qui avaient été dénombrés par Moïse et Aaron Sacrificateur, quand ils firent le dénombrement des enfants d'Israël au désert de Sinaï.
- 65 Car l'Eternel avait dit d'eux, que certainement ils mourraient au désert ; et ainsi il n'en resta pas un, excepté Caleb, fils de Jéphunné, et Josué, fils de Nun.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
