Jeremías 24
- 1 Mostróme Jehová, y he aquí dos cestas de higos puestas delante del templo de Jehová, después de haber trasportado Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, a Jeconías, hijo de Joacim, rey de Judá, y a los príncipes de Judá, y a los oficiales y cerrajeros de Jerusalem, y haberlos llevado a Babilonia.
- 2 La una cesta tenía higos muy buenos, como brevas; y la otra cesta tenía higos muy malos, que no se podían comer de malos.
- 3 Y díjome Jehová: ¿Qué ves tú, Jeremías? Y dije: Higos, higos buenos; muy buenos; y malos, muy malos, que de malos no se pueden comer.
- 4 Y fue a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
- 5 Así dijo Jehová Dios de Israel: Como a estos buenos higos, así conoceré el trasportamiento de Judá, al cual eché de este lugar a tierra de Caldeos, para bien.
- 6 Porque pondré mis ojos sobre ellos para bien; y volverlos he a esta tierra, y edificarlos he, y no los destruiré: plantarlos he, y no los arrancaré.
- 7 Y darles he corazón para que me conozcan, que yo soy Jehová; y serme han por pueblo, y yo les seré a ellos por Dios; porque se volverán a mí de todo su corazón.
- 8 Y como los malos higos, que de malos no se pueden comer, así dijo Jehová, daré a Sedecías, rey de Judá, y a sus príncipes, y al resto de Jerusalem que quedaron en esta tierra, y que moran en la tierra de Egipto.
- 9 Y darlos he por escarnio, por mal a todos los reinos de la tierra: por infamia, y por ejemplo, y por refrán, y por maldición a todos los lugares donde yo los arrojaré.
- 10 Y enviaré en ellos espada, hambre, y pestilencia, hasta que sean acabados de sobre la tierra que les di a ellos y a sus padres.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
