- 1 Og deres ganske Hob stod op og førte ham for Pilatus.
- 2 Men de begyndte at anklage ham og sagde: denne have vi fundet at forvende Folket og forbyde at give Keiseren Skat, og sige sig selv at være Christus, en Konge.
- 3 Men Pilatus spurgte ham og sagde: er du den Jødernes Konge? Men han svarede ham og sagde: du siger det.
- 4 Men Pilatus sagde til de Ypperstepræster og til Folket: jeg finder ingen Skyld hos dette Menneske.
- 5 Men de holdt hardt ved og sagde: han oprør Folket, idet han lærer over al Judæa, fra Galilæa af, hvor han begyndte.
- 6 Men der Pilatus hørte om Galilæa spurgte han, om dette Menneske var en Galilæer.
- 7 Og der han fik at vide, at han hørte under Herodes’ Magt, sendte han ham til Herodes, som og selv var i Jerusalem i de samme Dage.
- 8 Men der Herodes saae Jesus, blev han meget glad: thi han havde længe siden gjerne villet see ham, fordi han havde hørt meget om ham, og haabede at skulle see et Tegn skee af ham.
- 9 Og han gjorde ham mange Spørgsmaal; men han svarede ham Intet.
- 10 Men de Ypperstepræster og Skriftkloge stode og anklagede ham heftig.
- 11 Men der Herodes med sine Krigsfolk havde forhaanet og bespottet ham, kastede han et hvidt Klædebon om ham og sendte ham til Pilatus igjen.
- 12 Paa den Dag bleve Pilatus og Herodes hinandens Venner; thi de var før i Fjendskab med hinanden.
- 13 Men Pilatus sammenkaldte de Ypperstepræster og de Øverste og Folket,
- 14 og sagde til dem: I have ført dette Menneske til mig som den, der afvender Folket; og see, jeg haver forhørt ham for Eder, og finder ingen Skyld hos dette Menneske i det, som I anklage ham for.
- 15 Herodes ikke heller; thi jeg sendte Eder til ham, og see, han haver Intet gjort, som han er skyldig at døe for.
- 16 Derfor vil jeg revse ham og lade ham løs.
- 17 Men han var forbunden til at lade dem Een løs ved Høitiden.
- 18 Men de raabte i den ganske Hob og sagde: bort med denne, men lad os Barrabas løs!
- 19 (Denne var Kastet i Fængsel for et Oprør, som skete i Staden, og var for et Mord.)
- 20 Da raabte Pilatus atter til dem, og vilde lade Jesus løs.
- 21 Men de tilraabte ham og sagde: korsfæst, korsfæst ham!

- 26 Og der de førte ham ud, toge de fat paa en vis Simon fra Cyrene, som kom fra Marken, og de lagde Korset paa ham, at han skulde bære det efter Jesus.
- 27 Men en stor Hob Folk og Kvinder fulgte ham, som baade beklagede og begræd ham.
- 28 Men Jesus vendte sig om til dem og sagde: I Jerusalems Døttre! græder ikke over mig, men græder over Eder selv og over Eders Børn.
- 29 Thi see, de Dage komme, paa hvilke man skal sige: salige ere de Ufrugtsommelige og de Liv, som ikke fødte, og de Bryster, som ikke gave Die.
- 30 Da skulle de begynde at sige til Bjergene: falder over os! og til Høiene: skjuler os!
- 31 Thi gjør man dette med det grønne Træ, hvad vil da skee med det tørre.
- 32 Men der bleve og to andre Misdædere førte ud for at henrettes med ham.
- 33 Og der de vare komne til det Sted, som kaldes Hovedpandested, korsfæstede de ham der og Misdæderne, den ene ved den høire, men den anden ved den venstre Side.
- 34 Men Jesus sagde: Fader! forlad dem; thi de vide ikke, hvad de gjøre. Men de skiftede hans Klæder og kastede Lod derom.
- 35 Og Folket stod og saae til; men de Øverste spottede ham tilligemed dem og sagde: han haver frelst Andre, han frelse sig selv, dersom han er den Christus, den Guds Udvalgte.
- 36 Men og Stridsmændene spottede ham, traadte til og rakte ham Eddike og sagde:
- 37 dersom du er den Jødernes Konge, da frels dig selv.
- 38 Men der var og sat en Overskrift over ham, skreven paa Græsk og Latin og Hebraisk: denne er den Jødernes Konge.
- 39 Men een af Misdæderne, som vare ophængte, bespottede ham og sagde: er du den Christus, da frels dig selv og os.
- 40 Men den anden svarede og straffede ham og sagde: frygter ei heller du for Gud, da du er under samme Dom?
- 41 Og vi vel med Rette, thi vi saae det, vore Gjerninger have forskyldt; men denne handlede intet Uskikkeligt.
- 42 Og han sagde til Jesus: Herre! kom mig i hu, naar du kommer i dit Rige.
- 43 Og Jesus sagde til ham: sandelig siger jeg dig, i Dag skal du være med mig i Paradiis.
- 44 Men det var ved den sjette Time, og der blev et Mørke over det ganske Land indtil den niende Time.
- 45 Og Solen blev formørket, og Forhænget i Templet splittedes midt ad.
- 46 Og Jesus raabte med høi Røst og sagde: Fader! i dine Hænder befaler jeg min Aand; og der han det sagde, udgav han Aanden.
- 47 Men der Høvedsmanden saae det, som skete, gav han Gud Æren og sagde: i Sandhed, dette Menneske var retfærdigt.
- 48 Og alle de Folk, som vare komne sammen til dette Syn, der de saae, hvad der var skeet, sloge sig for deres Bryst, og vendte tilbage.
- 49 Men alle hans Kyndinge stode langt borte, saa og de Kvinder, som havde fulgt med ham fra Galilæa, og saae dette.
- 50 Og see, en Mand ved Navn Joseph, som var en Raadsherre, en god og retfærdig Mand,
- 51 (denne havde ikke samtykt i deres Raad og Gjerning), han var fra Arimathæa, en jødisk Stad, og han ventede ogsaa selv Guds Rige;
- 52 han gik til Pilatus, og begjerede Jesu Legeme.
- 53 Og han tog det ned, og svøbte det i et fiint Linklæde, og lagde det i en Grav, som var huggen i en Klippe, hvor endnu ikke Nogen var lagt.
- 54 Og det var Beredelsens Dag, og Sabbaten stundede til.
- 55 Men og Kvinderne, som vare komne med ham fra Galilæa, fulgte efter og saae Graven, og hvorledes hans Legeme blev lagt.
- 56 Men de vendte tilbage og beredte vellugtende Urter og Salver; og Sabbaten over holdt de sig stille efter Loven.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
