- 1 Sonra bütün meclis üyeleri kalkıp İsa’yı Pilatus’a götürdüler.
- 2 İsa’yı şöyle suçladılar: “Bu adamı yakaladık, çünkü halkımızı yoldan saptırıyor. Sezar’a vergi ödenmesine karşı çıkıyor. Kendisinin Mesih, yani kral olduğunu söylüyor.”
- 3 Pilatus İsa’ya, “Sen Yahudilerin Kralı mısın?” diye sordu. Cevap olarak İsa, “Söylediğin gibidir” dedi.
- 4 Pilatus başrahiplere ve kalabalığa, “Bu adamda hiçbir suç bulmuyorum” dedi.
- 5 Fakat onlar ısrar ettiler: “Yahudiye’nin her tarafında vazederek halkı kışkırtıyor. Celile’den başlayıp ta buraya kadar geldi” dediler.

- 11 Hirodes de askerleriyle birlikte O’nu aşağılayıp alay etti. O’na gösterişli bir kıyafet giydirip Pilatus’a geri gönderdi.
- 12 Bundan önce düşman olan Hirodes’le Pilatus o gün dost oldular.

- 22 Pilatus üçüncü kez şöyle dedi: “Bu adam ne kötülük yaptı ki? O’nda ölüm cezasını gerektiren hiçbir suç bulmadım. Bunun için O’nu dövdürüp serbest bırakacağım.”

- 28 İsa bu kadınlara dönerek şöyle dedi: “Ey Kudüslü kadınlar, benim için ağlamayın. Kendiniz ve çocuklarınız için ağlayın.
- 29 Çünkü gün gelecek, insanlar şöyle diyecek: ‘Ne mutlu kısır kadınlara, hiç doğurmamış rahimlere ve emzirmemiş memelere!’
- 30 Sonra dağlara, ‘Üzerimize düşün!’ ve tepelere, ‘Bizi örtün!’ diyecekler.
- 31 Çünkü yaş ağaca böyle yaparlarsa, kuruya daha beterini yapacaklar.”
- 32 Suçlu iki adam da idam edilmek üzere İsa’yla beraber götürülüyordu.
- 33 Kafatası denilen yere vardıklarında İsa’yı iki suçluyla beraber çarmıha gerdiler. Suçlulardan biri sağında, diğeri de solundaydı.
- 34 İsa kendisini çarmıha gerenler için, “Semavî Baba, onları affet, çünkü ne yaptıklarını bilmiyorlar” dedi. Askerler kura çekerek O’nun giysilerini aralarında paylaştılar.
- 35 Halk orada durmuş, olanları seyrediyordu. İleri gelenler İsa’yla alay ettiler. “Başkalarını kurtardı; eğer Allah’ın seçtiği Mesih O ise, kendini de kurtarsın” dediler.
- 36 Askerler de yanına yaklaşıp O’nunla eğlendiler. O’na ucuz şarap sunup,
- 37 “Eğer Yahudilerin Kralı’ysan, kurtar kendini!” dediler.
- 38 Çarmıhın üzerinde şu yafta vardı: “YAHUDILERIN KRALI BUDUR.”
- 39 Çarmıha gerilen suçlulardan biri, “Sen Mesih değil misin? Haydi, kendini de bizi de kurtar!” diye küfür etti.
- 40 Fakat öbür suçlu onu azarladı. “Sende Allah korkusu yok mu?” diye karşılık verdi. “Sen de aynı cezayı çekiyorsun.
- 41 Biz bu cezayı hak ediyoruz, yaptıklarımızın karşılığını alıyoruz. Fakat bu adam hiçbir kötülük yapmadı.”
- 42 Sonra, “Ey İsa, dünyaya kral olarak geldiğin zaman beni hatırla” dedi.
- 43 İsa ona, “Emin ol bugün benimle birlikte cennette olacaksın” dedi.
- 44 Öğlen on iki civarıydı. Öğleden sonra üçe kadar bütün ülkenin üzerine karanlık çöktü.
- 45 Güneş karardı, mabetteki perde ortasından yırtıldı.
- 46 İsa yüksek sesle, “Semavî Baba, ruhumu sana teslim ediyorum!” diye seslendi. Bunu dedikten sonra son nefesini verdi.
- 47 Olanları gören yüzbaşı, “Bu adam hakikaten masum biriydi” dedi ve Allah’a hamdetti.
- 48 Olayı seyretmek için toplananlar olup biteni görünce göğüslerini döve döve şehre döndü.
- 49 Fakat İsa’nın bütün tanıdıkları ve Celile’den O’nun ardından gelen kadınlar uzakta durup olanları seyrettiler.
- 50 Yüksek Meclis üyelerinden Yusuf adında iyi ve sâlih bir adam vardı.
- 51 Bir Yahudi şehri olan Aramatya’dandı, Allah’ın Hükümranlığı’nı umutla bekliyordu. Meclisin kararını ve yerine getirilmesini tasvip etmemişti.
- 52 Pilatus’a gidip İsa’nın cesedini istedi.
- 53 Onu çarmıhtan indirip keten beze sardı. Kayaya oyulmuş ve daha içine hiç kimsenin konmadığı bir mezara yatırdı.
- 54 Hazırlık Günü’ydü. Güneş batınca Şabat Günü başlayacaktı.
- 55 İsa’yla birlikte Celile’den gelen kadınlar da Yusuf’un ardından gittiler. Mezarı ve İsa’nın cesedinin oraya nasıl konulduğunu gördüler.
- 56 Sonra evlerine döndüler; İsa’nın cesedine sürmek için baharat ve güzel kokulu yağlar hazırladılar. Şabat Günü farzını yerine getirip dinlendiler.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
