- 1 IL Signore parlò ancora a Mosè, nel deserto di Sinai, nel Tabernacolo della convenenza, nel primo giorno del secondo mese, nell’anno secondo da che i figliuoli d’Israele furono usciti fuor del paese di Egitto, dicendo:
- 2 Levate la somma di tutta la raunanza de’ figliuoli d’Israele, secondo le lor nazioni, e le famiglie de’ padri loro, contando per nome, a testa a testa, ogni maschio,
- 3 di età da vent’anni in su, tutti coloro che possono andare alla guerra in Israele; annoverateli, tu, ed Aaronne, per le loro schiere.
- 4 E siavi con voi un uomo di ciascuna tribù, che sia capo della sua casa paterna.
- 5 E questi sono i nomi di coloro che saranno presenti con voi: Di Ruben, Elisur, figliuolo di Sedeur;
- 6 Di Simeone, Selumiel, figliuolo di Surisaddai;
- 7 Di Giuda, Naasson, figliuolo di Amminadab;
- 8 D’Issacar, Natanael, figliuolo di Suar;
- 9 Di Zabulon, Eliab, figliuolo di Helon;
- 10 De’ figliuoli di Giuseppe: di Efraim, Elisama, figliuoli di Ammiud; di Manasse, Gamliel, figliuolo di Pedasur;
- 11 Di Beniamino, Abidan, figliuolo di Ghidoni;
- 12 Di Dan, Ahiezer, figliuolo di Ammisaddai;
- 13 Di Aser, Paghiel, figliuolo di Ocran;
- 14 Di Gad, Eliasaf, figliuolo di Deuel;
- 15 Di Neftali, Ahira, figliuolo di Enan.
- 16 Costoro erano quelli che si chiamavano alla raunanza, principali delle tribù loro paterne, e capi delle migliaia d’Israele.
- 17 Mosè adunque ed Aaronne presero seco questi uomini, ch’erano stati nominati per li nomi loro.
- 18 E, a’ calendi del secondo mese, adunarono tutta la raunanza; e le generazioni de’ figliuoli d’Israele furono descritte per le lor nazioni, e per le famiglie loro paterne, contandoli per nome dall’età di vent’anni in su, a testa a testa.
- 19 Come il Signore avea comandato a Mosè, egli li annoverò nel deserto di Sinai.
- 20 E delle generazioni de’ figliuoli di Ruben, primogenito d’Israele, per le lor nazioni, e famiglie paterne, contati per nome, a testa a testa, d’infra tutti i maschi, dall’età di vent’anni in su, tutti quelli che potevano andare alla guerra;
- 21 gli annoverati della tribù di Ruben furono quarantaseimila cinquecento.
- 22 Delle generazioni de’ figliuoli di Simeone, per le lor nazioni, e famiglie paterne, contati per nome, a testa a testa, d’infra tutti i maschi, dall’età di vent’anni in su, tutti quelli che potevano andare alla guerra;
- 23 gli annoverati della tribù di Simeone furono cinquantanovemila trecento.
- 24 Delle generazioni de’ figliuoli di Gad, per le lor nazioni, e famiglie paterne, contati per nome tutti quelli che potevano andare alla guerra, dall’età di vent’anni in su;
- 25 gli annoverati della tribù di Gad furono quarantacinquemila seicencinquanta.
- 26 Delle generazioni de’ figliuoli di Giuda, per le lor nazioni, e famiglie paterne, contati per nome tutti quelli che potevano andare alla guerra, dall’età di vent’anni in su;
- 27 gli annoverati della tribù di Giuda furono settantaquattromila seicento.
- 28 Delle generazioni de’ figliuoli d’Issacar, per le lor nazioni, e famiglie paterne, contati per nome tutti quelli che potevano andare alla guerra, dall’età di vent’anni in su;
- 29 gli annoverati della tribù d’Issacar furono cinquantaquattromila quattrocento.
- 30 Delle generazioni de’ figliuoli di Zabulon, per le lor nazioni, e famiglie paterne, contati per nome tutti quelli che potevano andare alla guerra, dall’età di vent’anni in su;
- 31 gli annoverati della tribù di Zabulon furono cinquantasettemila quattrocento.
- 32 De’ figliuoli di Giuseppe; delle generazioni de’ figliuoli di Efraim, per le lor nazioni, e famiglie paterne, contati per nome tutti quelli che potevano andare alla guerra, dall’età di vent’anni in su;
- 33 gli annoverati della tribù di Efraim furono quarantamila cinquecento.
- 34 Delle generazioni de’ figliuoli di Manasse, per le lor nazioni, e famiglie paterne, contati per nome tutti quelli che potevano andare alla guerra, dall’età di vent’anni in su;
- 35 gli annoverati della tribù di Manasse furono trentaduemila dugento.
- 36 Delle generazioni de’ figliuoli di Beniaminio, per le lor nazioni, e famiglie paterne, contati per nome tutti quelli che potevano andare alla guerra, dall’età di vent’anni in su;
- 37 gli annoverati della tribù di Beniamino furono trentacinquemila quattrocento.
- 38 Delle generazioni de’ figliuoli di Dan, per le lor nazioni, e famiglie paterne, contati per nome tutti quelli che potevano andare alla guerra, dall’età di vent’anni in su;
- 39 gli annoverati della tribù di Dan furono sessantaduemila settecento.
- 40 Delle generazioni de’ figliuoli di Aser, per le lor nazioni, e famiglie paterne; contati per nome tutti quelli che potevano andare alla guerra, dall’età di vent’anni in su;
- 41 gli annoverati della tribù di Aser furono quarantunmila cinquecento.
- 42 Delle generazioni de’ figliuoli di Neftali, per le lor nazioni, e famiglie paterne, contati per nome tutti quelli che potevano andare alla guerra, dall’età di vent’anni in su;
- 43 gli annoverati della tribù di Neftali furono cinquantatremila quattrocento.
- 44 Questi furono gli annoverati, i quali Mosè ed Aaronne annoverarono, insieme co’ principali d’Israele, ch’erano dodici uomini, uno per famiglia paterna.
- 45 Così, tutti gli annoverati d’infra i figliuoli d’Israele, per le lor famiglie paterne, dall’età di vent’anni in su, che potevano andare alla guerra,
- 46 furono seicentotremila cinquecencinquanta.
- 47 Ma i Leviti non furono annoverati fra loro secondo la lor tribù paterna;
- 48 perciocchè il Signore avea detto a Mosè:
- 49 Sol non annoverar la tribù di Levi, e non levarne la somma per mezzo i figliuoli d’Israele.
- 50 Ma ordina i Leviti sopra il Tabernacolo della Testimonianza, e sopra tutti i suoi arredi; e sopra tutte le cose ad esso appartenenti; e portino essi il Tabernacolo e tutti i suoi arredi; e facciano i servigi di esso, e accampinvisi attorno.
- 51 E quando il Tabernacolo si dipartirà, mettanlo giù i Leviti; quando altresì si accamperà, rizzinlo i Leviti; e se alcuno straniere vi si appressa, sia fatto morire.
- 52 Or accampinsi i figliuoli d’Israele, ciascuno nel suo quartiere, e ciascuno presso alla sua bandiera, per le loro schiere.
- 53 Ma accampinsi i Leviti intorno al Tabernacolo della Testimonianza; acciocchè non vi sia ira contro alla raunanza de’ figliuoli d’Israele; e facciano i Leviti la funzione del Tabernacolo della Testimonianza.
- 54 E i figliuoli d’Israele fecero interamente come il Signore avea comandato.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
