- 1 Y hablando ellos al pueblo, sobrevinieron los sacerdotes, y el magistrado del templo, y los Saduceos,
- 2 Pesándoles de que enseñasen al pueblo, y anunciasen en el nombre de Jesús la resurrección de los muertos.
- 3 Y les echaron mano, y los pusieron en la cárcel hasta el día siguiente; porque era ya tarde.
- 4 Mas muchos de los que habían oído la palabra creyeron; y fue hecho el número de los hombres, como cinco mil.
- 5 Y aconteció el día siguiente, que los príncipes de ellos se juntaron, y los ancianos, y los escribas, en Jerusalem,
- 6 Y Annás, sumo sacerdote, y Caifás, y Juan, y Alejandro, y todos los que eran de la parentela del sumo sacerdote.
- 7 Y haciéndolos presentar en medio, les preguntaron: ¿Con qué poder, o en qué nombre habéis hecho vosotros esto?
- 8 ¶ Entonces Pedro, lleno del Espíritu Santo, les dijo: Príncipes del pueblo, y ancianos de Israel:
- 9 Pues que somos hoy demandados acerca del beneficio hecho a un hombre enfermo, es a saber, de qué manera éste haya sido sanado;
- 10 Sea notorio a todos vosotros, y a todo el pueblo de Israel, que en el nombre de Jesu Cristo, el Nazareno, el que vosotros crucificasteis, el que Dios resucitó de los muertos, aun por él éste está en vuestra presencia sano.
- 11 Este es la piedra reprobada de vosotros los edificadores, la cual es puesta por cabeza de la esquina.
- 12 Y en ningún otro hay salud; porque no hay otro nombre debajo del cielo, dado a los hombres, en que nos sea necesario ser salvos.
- 13 ¶ Entonces viendo la constancia de Pedro y de Juan, sabido que eran hombres sin letras e idiotas, se maravillaban; y los conocían que habían estado con Jesús.
- 14 Y viendo al hombre que había sido sanado, que estaba con ellos, no podían decir nada en contra.
- 15 Mas mandándoles que se saliesen fuera del concilio, conferían entre sí,
- 16 Diciendo: ¿Qué hemos de hacer con estos hombres? porque cierto un milagro manifiesto ha sido hecho por ellos, notorio a todos los que moran en Jerusalem, y no lo podemos negar.
- 17 Todavía, porque no se divulgue más por el pueblo, amenacémosles que no hablen de aquí adelante a hombre alguno en este nombre.
- 18 Y llamándolos les mandaron que en ninguna manera hablasen, ni enseñasen en el nombre de Jesús.
- 19 Entonces Pedro y Juan respondiendo, les dijeron: Juzgád, si es justo delante de Dios obedecer antes a vosotros que a Dios.
- 20 Porque no podemos dejar de hablar lo que hemos visto y oído.
- 21 Ellos entonces no hallando en qué castigarlos, los enviaron amenazándoles, por causa del pueblo; porque todos glorificaban a Dios de lo que había sido hecho.
- 22 Porque el hombre en quien había sido hecho este milagro de sanidad, era de más de cuarenta años.
- 23 ¶ Y sueltos ellos, vinieron a los suyos, y contaron lo que los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y los ancianos les habían dicho.
- 24 Los cuales habiéndolo oído, alzaron unánimes la voz a Dios, y dijeron: Señor, tú eres Dios, que hiciste el cielo y la tierra, la mar, y todas las cosas que en ellos están:
- 25 Que por la boca de David tu siervo dijiste: ¿Por qué han bramado los paganos, y los pueblos han pensado cosas vanas?
- 26 Se levantaron los reyes de la tierra, y los príncipes se juntaron a una contra el Señor, y contra su Cristo.
- 27 Porque verdaderamente se juntaron contra tu Santo Hijo Jesús, al cual ungiste, Heródes, y Poncio Pilato, con los Gentiles, y el pueblo de Israel,
- 28 Para hacer lo que tu mano y tu consejo antes habían determinado que había de ser hecho.
- 29 Y ahora, Señor, pon los ojos en sus amenazas, y da a tus siervos que con toda confianza hablen tu palabra.
- 30 Extendiendo tu mano para que sanidades, y milagros, y prodigios sean hechos por el nombre de tu Santo Hijo Jesús.
- 31 Y como hubieron orado, el lugar en que estaban congregados se conmovió; y todos fueron llenos del Espíritu Santo, y hablaron animosamente la palabra de Dios.
- 32 ¶ Y de la multitud de los que habían creído era un corazón y una alma; y ninguno decía ser suyo algo de lo que poseían, mas todas las cosas les eran comunes.
- 33 Y los apóstoles daban testimonio de la resurrección del Señor Jesús con grande poder; y gran gracia estaba sobre todos ellos.
- 34 Ni había entre ellos ningún necesitado; porque los que poseían heredades o casas, vendiéndolas, traían el precio de lo vendido,
- 35 Y lo depositaban a los pies de los apóstoles, y era repartido a cada uno como tenía la necesidad.
- 36 Entonces Joses, que fue llamado de los apóstoles por sobrenombre Barnabás, que es, interpretado, hijo de consolación, Levita, y natural de Chipre,
- 37 Como tuviese una heredad, la vendió, y trajo el precio, y lo depositó a los pies de los apóstoles.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
