- 1 Nyní tedy, Izraeli, slyš nařízení a práva, která vás učím dodržovat, abyste zůstali naživu a mohli obsadit zemi, kterou vám dává Hospodin, Bůh vašich otců.

2 K tomu, co vám přikazuji, nic nepřidáte a nic z toho neuberete, ale budete dbát na příkazy Hospodina, svého Boha, které vám udílím.

- 4 Ale vy, kteří jste se přimkli k Hospodinu, svému Bohu, jste dodnes všichni živi.

5 Hleď, učil jsem vás nařízením a právům, jak mi přikázal Hospodin, můj Bůh, abyste je dodržovali v zemi, kterou přicházíte obsadit.
Keep God's commandmends - 6 Bedlivě je dodržujte. To bude vaše moudrost a rozumnost před zraky lidských pokolení. Když uslyší všechna tato nařízení, řeknou: „Jak moudrý a rozumný lid je tento veliký národ!“
- 7 Což se najde jiný veliký národ, jemuž jsou jeho bohové tak blízko, jako je nám Hospodin, náš Bůh, kdykoli k němu voláme?
- 8 A má jiný veliký národ nařízení a práva tak spravedlivá jako celý tento zákon, který vám dnes předkládám?
- 9 Jenom si dej pozor a velice se střez zapomenout na věci, které jsi viděl na vlastní oči, aby nevymizely z tvého srdce po všechny dny tvého života. Seznam s nimi své syny i vnuky.
- 10 Nezapomeň na den, kdy jsi stál před Hospodinem, svým Bohem, na Chorébu, kdy mi řekl Hospodin: „Shromáždi mi lid a dám jim slyšet svá slova, aby se mě naučili bát po všechny dny svého života na zemi a učili tomu i své syny.“
- 11 Tenkrát jste se přiblížili a stáli pod horou. Hora planula ohněm až do samých nebes a kolem byla tma, oblak a mrákota.
- 12 I promluvil k vám Hospodin zprostředku ohně. Slyšeli jste zvuk slov, avšak žádnou podobu jste neviděli; slyšeli jste jen hlas.
- 13 Oznámil vám svou smlouvu, kterou vám přikázal dodržovat, desatero přikázání, a napsal je na dvě kamenné desky.
- 14 A mně Hospodin v oné době přikázal učit vás nařízením a právům, abyste je dodržovali v zemi, do které táhnete a kterou máte obsadit.
- 15 V den, kdy k vám Hospodin mluvil na Chorébu zprostředku ohně, jste neviděli žádnou podobu; velice se tedy střezte,
- 16 abyste se nezvrhli a neudělali si tesanou sochu, žádné sochařské zpodobení: zobrazení mužství nebo ženství,
- 17 zobrazení jakéhokoli zvířete, které je na zemi, zobrazení jakéhokoli okřídleného ptáka, který létá po nebi,
- 18 zobrazení jakéhokoli plaza, který se plazí po zemi, zobrazení jakékoli ryby, která je ve vodách pod zemí;
- 19 abys nepovznášel své zraky k nebesům, a když bys viděl slunce, měsíc a hvězdy, všechen nebeský zástup, nedal se svést a neklaněl se jim a nesloužil tomu, co dal Hospodin, tvůj Bůh, jako podíl všem národům pod celým nebem.
- 20 Ale vás Hospodin vzal a vyvedl z tavicí pece, z Egypta, abyste byli jeho dědičným lidem, jak tomu je dnes.
- 21 Na mne se však Hospodin kvůli vám rozhněval a přísahal, že nepřejdu Jordán a že nevstoupím do té dobré země, kterou ti Hospodin, tvůj Bůh, dává do dědictví.
- 22 Umřu v této zemi, nepřejdu Jordán, ale vy jej přejdete a tu dobrou zemi obsadíte.
- 23 Dávejte si pozor, abyste nezapomněli na smlouvu Hospodina, svého Boha, kterou s vámi uzavřel, a neudělali si tesanou sochu, zpodobení čehokoli, co ti Hospodin, tvůj Bůh, zakázal,
- 24 neboť Hospodin, tvůj Bůh, je oheň sžírající, Bůh žárlivě milující.
- 25 Budeš plodit syny a vnuky a dožijete se v té zemi stáří; zvrhnete-li se však a uděláte si tesanou sochu, zpodobení čehokoli, a dopustíte se toho, co je zlé v očích Hospodina, tvého Boha, co ho uráží,
- 26 beru si dnes proti vám za svědky nebe i zemi, že v zemi, do níž přejdete přes Jordán, abyste ji obsadili, rychle a nadobro vyhynete. Nebudete v ní dlouho živi, ale budete vyhlazeni.
- 27 Hospodin vás rozptýlí mezi kdejaký lid, že z vás v pronárodech, kam vás Hospodin zavede, zbude jen malý počet.
- 28 Tam budete sloužit bohům vyrobeným lidskýma rukama, bohům ze dřeva a z kamene, kteří nevidí a neslyší, nejedí a nečichají.
- 29 Odtamtud budete hledat Hospodina, svého Boha; nalezneš ho, budeš-li ho opravdu hledat celým svým srdcem a celou svou duší.
- 30 Ve svém soužení, až tě v posledních dnech toto všechno stihne, navrátíš se k Hospodinu, svému Bohu, a budeš ho poslouchat.
- 31 Vždyť Hospodin, tvůj Bůh, je Bůh milosrdný, nenechá tě klesnout a nepřipustí tvou zkázu, nezapomene na smlouvu s tvými otci, kterou jim stvrdil přísahou.
- 32 Jen se ptej na dřívější časy, které byly před tebou, od chvíle, kdy Bůh stvořil na zemi člověka. Ptej se od jednoho konce nebes ke druhému, zda se stala tak veliká věc anebo bylo o něčem takovém slýcháno.
- 33 Zdali kdy slyšel lid hlas Boha mluvícího zprostředku ohně, jako jsi slyšel ty, a zůstal naživu,
- 34 anebo zdali se pokusil nějaký bůh přijít a vzít pronárod zprostředku jiného pronároda zkouškami, znameními, zázraky a bojem, pevnou rukou a vztaženou paží, velkými hroznými činy, jak to vše s vámi učinil Hospodin, váš Bůh, v Egyptě tobě před očima.
- 35 Tobě bylo odhaleno poznání, že Hospodin je Bůh; kromě něho není žádný jiný.
- 36 Z nebe ti dal slyšet svůj hlas, aby tě napomenul, na zemi ti dal spatřit svůj veliký oheň a jeho slova jsi slyšel zprostředku ohně.
- 37 Protože miloval tvé otce, vyvolil po nich i jejich potomstvo a tebe vyvedl svou velikou mocí z Egypta,
- 38 aby před tebou vyhnal pronárody větší a zdatnější, než jsi ty, a přivedl tě do jejich země a dal ti ji do dědictví, jak tomu je dnes.
- 39 Proto poznej dnes a vezmi si k srdci, že Hospodin je Bůh nahoře na nebesích i dole na zemi; žádný jiný není.
- 40 Dbej na jeho nařízení a příkazy, které ti dnes udílím, aby se vedlo dobře tobě i tvým synům po tobě a abys byl dlouho živ na zemi, kterou ti pro všechny dny dává Hospodin, tvůj Bůh.
- 41 Tehdy oddělil Mojžíš tři města v Zajordání, na východě,
- 42 aby se tam mohl utéci ten, kdo zabil, pokud zabil svého bližního neúmyslně a neměl ho dříve v nenávisti. Nechť se uteče do některého z těchto měst a zůstane naživu:
- 43 do rúbenovského Beseru ve stepi na náhorní rovině, do gádovského Rámotu v Gileádu a do manasesovského Gólanu v Bášanu.
- 44 Toto je zákon, který předložil Mojžíš Izraelcům.
- 45 Toto jsou svědectví, nařízení a práva, která přednesl Mojžíš Izraelcům po jejich vyjití z Egypta
- 46 v Zajordání, v údolí naproti Bét-peóru, v zemi emorejského krále Síchona, jenž sídlil v Chešbónu; porazili ho Mojžíš a Izraelci po svém vyjití z Egypta.
- 47 Obsadili jeho zemi i zemi bášanského krále Óga, obou emorejských králů v Zajordání, na východě:
- 48 od Aróeru, který je na břehu potoka Arnónu, až k hoře Síonu, což je Chermón,
- 49 a celou pustinu za Jordánem na východě až k Pustému moři pod úpatí Pisgy.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
