2 Samuel 22
- 1 David a îndreptat către Domnul cuvintele acestei cântări după ce Domnul l-a izbăvit din mâna tuturor vrăjmaşilor lui şi din mâna lui Saul.
- 2 El a zis: „Domnul este stânca mea, cetăţuia mea, Izbăvitorul meu.
- 3 Dumnezeu este stânca mea la care găsesc un adăpost, scutul meu şi puterea care mă mântuieşte, turnul meu cel înalt şi scăparea mea. Mântuitorule, Tu mă scapi de silnicie!
- 4 Eu chem pe Domnul cel vrednic de laudă şi sunt izbăvit de vrăjmaşii mei.
- 5 Căci valurile morţii mă înconjuraseră, şuvoaiele nimicirii mă înspăimântaseră,
- 6 legăturile mormântului mă înconjuraseră, laţurile morţii mă prinseseră.
- 7 În strâmtorarea mea, am chemat pe Domnul, am chemat pe Dumnezeul meu; din locaşul Lui, El mi-a auzit glasul şi strigătul meu a ajuns la urechile Lui.
- 8 Atunci, pământul s-a cutremurat şi s-a clătinat, temeliile cerului s-au mişcat şi s-au zguduit, pentru că El Se mâniase.
- 9 Fum se ridica din nările Lui şi un foc mistuitor ieşea din gura Lui: cărbuni aprinşi ţâşneau din ea.
- 10 A plecat cerurile şi S-a pogorât: un nor gros era sub picioarele Lui.
- 11 Călărea pe un heruvim şi zbura, venea pe aripile vântului;
- 12 era înconjurat cu întunericul ca şi cu un cort, era înconjurat cu grămezi de ape şi cu nori întunecoşi.
- 13 Din strălucirea care era înaintea Lui scânteiau cărbuni de foc.
- 14 Domnul a tunat din ceruri, Cel Preaînalt a făcut să-I răsune glasul;
- 15 a aruncat săgeţi şi a risipit pe vrăjmaşii mei, a aruncat fulgerul şi i-a pus pe fugă.
- 16 Fundul mării s-a văzut, temeliile lumii au fost descoperite de mustrarea Domnului, de vuietul suflării nărilor Lui.
- 17 El Şi-a întins mâna de sus din înălţime, m-a apucat, m-a scos din apele cele mari;
- 18 m-a izbăvit de potrivnicul meu cel puternic, de vrăjmaşii mei care erau mai tari decât mine.
- 19 Ei mă prinseseră în ziua strâmtorării mele, dar Domnul a fost sprijinitorul meu,
- 20 El m-a scos la loc larg. El m-a mântuit, pentru că mă iubeşte.
- 21 Domnul mi-a răsplătit după nevinovăţia mea, mi-a făcut după curăţia mâinilor mele;
- 22 căci am păzit căile Domnului, nu m-am făcut vinovat faţă de Dumnezeul meu.
- 23 Toate poruncile Lui au fost înaintea mea şi nu m-am depărtat de la legile Lui.
- 24 Am fost fără vină înaintea Lui, m-am păzit de fărădelegea mea.
- 25 De aceea, Domnul mi-a răsplătit nevinovăţia mea după curăţia mea înaintea Lui.
- 26 Cu cel bun Tu eşti bun, cu omul drept Te porţi după dreptate,
- 27 cu cel curat eşti curat, cu cel îndărătnic Te porţi după îndărătnicia lui.
- 28 Tu mântuieşti pe poporul care se smereşte, şi cu privirea Ta cobori pe cei mândri.
- 29 Da, Tu eşti lumina mea, Doamne! Domnul luminează întunericul meu.
- 30 Cu Tine mă năpustesc asupra unei oşti înarmate, cu Dumnezeul meu sar peste zid.
- 31 Căile lui Dumnezeu sunt desăvârşite, Cuvântul Domnului este curăţit; El este un scut pentru toţi cei ce caută adăpost în El.
- 32 Căci cine este Dumnezeu, afară de Domnul? Şi cine este o stâncă, afară de Dumnezeul nostru?
- 33 Dumnezeu este cetăţuia mea cea tare şi El mă călăuzeşte pe calea cea dreaptă.
- 34 El îmi face picioarele ca ale cerboaicelor şi El mă aşază pe locurile mele cele înalte.
- 35 Îmi deprinde mâinile la luptă şi braţele mele întind arcul de aramă.
- 36 Tu îmi dai scutul mântuirii Tale şi ajung mare prin bunătatea Ta.
- 37 Lărgeşti drumul sub paşii mei şi picioarele mele nu se clatină.
- 38 Urmăresc pe vrăjmaşii mei şi-i nimicesc, nu mă întorc până nu-i nimicesc.
- 39 Îi nimicesc, îi zdrobesc, de nu se mai scoală; cad sub picioarele mele.
- 40 Tu mă încingi cu putere pentru luptă, răpui sub mine pe potrivnicii mei.
- 41 Faci pe vrăjmaşii mei să dea dosul înaintea mea şi nimicesc pe cei ce mă urăsc.
- 42 Se uită în jurul lor şi nu-i cine să-i scape. Strigă către Domnul, dar nu le răspunde!
- 43 Îi pisez ca pulberea pământului, îi zdrobesc, îi calc în picioare, ca noroiul de pe uliţe.
- 44 Mă scapi din neînţelegerile poporului meu; mă păstrezi drept căpetenie a neamurilor; un popor pe care nu-l cunoşteam îmi este supus.
- 45 Fiii străinului mă linguşesc; mă ascultă la cea dintâi poruncă.
- 46 Fiii străinului leşină de la inimă, tremură când ies din cetăţuie.
- 47 Trăiască Domnul şi binecuvântată să fie Stânca mea! Înălţat să fie Dumnezeu, Stânca mântuirii mele,
- 48 Dumnezeu, care este răzbunătorul meu, care-mi supune popoarele
- 49 şi care mă face să scap de vrăjmaşii mei! Tu mă înalţi mai presus de potrivnicii mei, mă izbăveşti de omul asupritor.
- 50 De aceea Te voi lăuda printre neamuri, Doamne, şi voi cânta spre slava Numelui Tău!
- 51 El dă mari izbăviri împăratului Său şi arată milă unsului Său: lui David şi seminţei lui pentru totdeauna.”

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
