- 1 Det hende i det trettiande året, den femte dagen i den fjorde månaden, då eg var millom dei bortførde attmed Kebarelvi, at himmelen opna seg og eg såg syner frå Gud.

- 8 Og dei hadde mannehender under vengjerne på alle fire sidorne. Og med andliti deira og vengjerne deira var det soleis på alle fire:
- 9 Vengjerne deira nådde i hop, den eine med hin. Dei snudde seg ikkje når dei gjekk; kvart eitt gjekk beint fram.
- 10 Og deira andlit var som eit mannsandlit på skap, og alle fire hadde løve-andlit på høgresida, og alle fire hadde ukse-andlit på vinstresida, og alle fire hadde ørne-andlit.
- 11 Det var no andliti deira. Og vengjerne deira breidde seg ut ovantil. Med tvo av vengjerne sine nådde eitt livende i hop med hitt, og med tvo løynde det likamen sin.
- 12 Og kvart eitt av deim gjekk beint fram. Kvar åndi vilde ganga, dit gjekk dei; dei snudde seg ikkje når dei gjekk.
- 13 Og livendi såg ut som gløder i eld, brennende, som kyndlar å sjå til; elden for att og fram millom livendi, og det skein av honom, og ut or elden gjekk det ljon.
- 14 Og livendi for att og fram, nett som eldingar å sjå til.
- 15 Og eg såg livendi, og sjå, det var eit hjul på jordi innmed kvart eitt livende, og dei viste ut mot fire sidor.

- 19 Og når livendi gjekk, so gjekk hjuli attmed deim, og når livendi lyfte seg frå jordi, so lyfte hjuli seg med.
- 20 Kvar åndi vilde ganga, gjekk dei, nett dit som åndi vilde ganga. Og hjuli lyfte seg med deim, for åndi åt livendi var i hjuli.
- 21 Når livendi gjekk, so gjekk dei, og når dei stod, so stod dei, og når dei lyfte seg frå jordi, so lyfte hjuli seg med, for åndi åt livendi var i hjuli.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
