Genesis 40
- 1 مدتی بعد رئیس ساقی ها و رئیس نانوا های مخصوص فرعون، پادشاه مصر، گناهی کردند.
- 2 فرعون قهر شد
- 3 و آن ها را به زندان قوماندان گارد، یعنی در همان زندانی که یوسف زندانی شده بود انداخت.
- 4 آن ها مدت زیادی در آن زندان ماندند و رئیس زندان یوسف را مأمور خدمت آن ها کرد.
- 5 یک شب رئیس ساقی ها و رئیس نانوا ها هر یک خوابی دید که تعبیر مختلفی داشت.
- 6 صبح وقتی یوسف پیش آن ها آمد، دید که آن ها پریشان هستند.
- 7 پرسید: «چرا امروز پریشان هستید؟»
- 8 آن ها جواب دادند: «هر یک از ما خوابی دیده ایم و در اینجا کسی نیست که خواب ما را تعبیر کند.» یوسف گفت: «خدا قدرت تعبیر خوابها را می بخشد. بگوئید چه خوابی دیده اید؟»
- 9 پس رئیس ساقی ها گفت: «خواب دیدم که یک درخت انگور پیش من است
- 10 که سه شاخه دارد. به زودی برگها سبز شدند و خوشه کردند و انگور پخته بار دادند.
- 11 من جام فرعون را پیش خود داشتم. پس انگور ها را در جام فشردم و آنرا به دست پادشاه دادم.»
- 12 یوسف گفت: «تعبیر خواب تو این است: سه شاخه سه روز است.
- 13 روز سوم فرعون گناه تو را می بخشد و تو مثل سابق که رئیس ساقی ها بودی دوباره جام را به دست فرعون خواهی داد.
- 14 اما وقتی همه چیز برای تو به خوبی انجام شد، مرا بیاد بیاور. محبتی به من بکن و احوال مرا به فرعون بگو و کمک کن تا از این زندان آزاد شوم.
- 15 در واقع مرا از سرزمین عبرانیان دزدیده اند و در اینجا هم بدون اینکه گناهی کرده باشم مرا در زندان انداخته اند.»
- 16 وقتی رئیس نانوا ها دید که تعبیر خواب رئیس ساقی ها خوب بود، به یوسف گفت: «من هم در خواب دیدم که سه تکری نان را بر سرم می برم.
- 17 در تکری بالائی انواع نان شیرینی برای فرعون وجود داشت و پرندگان آن ها را می خوردند.»
- 18 یوسف گفت: «تعبیر آن این است: سه تکری سه روز است.
- 19 روز سوم فرعون تو را از زندان بیرون می آورد. سرت را از تن جدا می کند و بدنت را بر دار می آویزد تا پرندگان گوشت تو را بخورند.»
- 20 پس از سه روز، روز تولد فرعون بود. پس او یک مهمانی برای همۀ درباریان ترتیب داد. رئیس ساقی ها و رئیس نانوا ها را از زندان آزاد کرد و آن ها را پیش همه اهل دربار آورد.
- 21 رئیس ساقی ها را بر سر کار سابقش مقرر کرد.
- 22 اما رئیس نانوا ها را همان طور که یوسف گفته بود به دار آویخت.
- 23 اما رئیس ساقی ها هرگز یوسف را به یاد نیاورد و او را بکلی فراموش کرد.
