- 1 イエズス、キリストの黙示、即ち必ず速に成るべき事を其僕等に明さしめんとて、神はイエズスに賜ひ、イエズス又其使を遣はして其僕ヨハネに示し給ひ、
- 2 ヨハネは神の御言を證し、又イエズス、キリストの證明し給ひし事、総て己が目撃せし事を證したるものなり。
- 3 此預言の言を読み且聞きて、是に録したる事を守る人は福なり、其は時近ければなり。

- 5 又イエズス、キリストより、恩寵と平安とを汝等に賜はらん事を。即ちイエズス、キリストは忠實なる證者、死者の中より先ちて生れ給ひしもの、地上の王等の君に在し、我等を愛し給ひ、御血を以て我等を罪より潔め給ひ、
- 6 我等を以て其父にて在す神の為に國と為し祭司と為し給ひしものにして、光榮と権威と是に在りて世々に限なし、アメン。
- 7 看よ彼は雲に乗りて來り給ふ、凡ての目及び彼を刺貫きし人々も之を見ん、地上の萬民彼の故に歎かん。然り、アメン。
- 8 現に在し、曾て在し、且來り給ふべき全能の神にて在す主曰く、我はアルファなり、オメガなり、始なり、終なり、と。
- 9 汝等の兄弟にして、キリスト、イエズスに於て患難と國と忍耐とを共にせる我ヨハネ、神の御言の為、及びイエズスを證し奉らん為に、パトモスと云へる島に在りしが、
- 10 或主日に當り、氣を奪はるるが如くになりて、我後に喇叭の如き大いなる聲を聞けり、

- 13 足まで垂れたる衣を着し、胸に金の帯を締め給ひ、
- 14 御頭と髪毛とは白き羊の毛の如く又雪の如く白く、御目は燃ゆる焔の如く、
- 15 兩の御足は熱き炉に於る青銅の如く、御聲は大水の音の如く、
- 16 右の御手には七の星を持ち給ひ、御口より兩刃の利き剣を出し、御顔は日盛に照輝ける太陽の如し。
- 17 我之を見るや、死せるが如く御足下に倒れしが、右の御手を我に觸けて曰ひけるは、懼るる勿れ、我は最初のものにして又最終のものなり、
- 18 我は活けるものにして死したりしものなり。看よ我は世々に限なく活きて、死と地獄との鍵を有てり、
- 19 然れば汝が既に見し事、現にある事、此後あるべき事、
- 20 又我右の手に見し七の星の奥義と、七の金の燈台の奥義とを書記せ、七の星は七教會の天使にして、七の燈台は七教會なり。
