- 1 其後我見たるに、折しも天に開けたる門あり、而して我が初に我に語るを聞きし喇叭の如き聲言ひけるは、此處に登れ、我此後に成るべき事を汝に示さん、と。
- 2 斯て我忽ち氣を奪はれたるが如くになりしに、折しも天に一の玉座備へられ、其玉座の上に坐し給ふものありて、
- 3 其坐し給ふものは碧玉及び赤條瑪瑙の象の如く、又玉座の周圍に緑玉の象の如き虹ありき。
- 4 然て玉座の周圍に廿四の高座あり、其高座の上には白衣を纏ひて頭に金冠を戴ける廿四人の翁坐し居れり。
- 5 斯て玉座より電光と數多の聲と雷鳴と出でつつありしが、玉座の正面には輝く七の燈火あり、是即ち神の七霊なり。
- 6 又玉座の前に水晶に似たる玻璃の海あり、玉座の中央と周圍とに、前後共に目にて満ちたる四の動物ありき。
- 7 第一の動物は獅子の如く、第二の動物は犢の如く、第三の動物は人の如き顔ありて、第四の動物は飛ぶ鷲の如し。
- 8 此四の動物各六の翼ありて、内外共に目にて満ち、晝夜絶間なく、聖なる哉、聖なる哉、聖なる哉、曾て在し、今も在し、又将に來り給ふべき全能の神にて在す主よ、と言ひ居れり。
- 9 斯て此四の動物、玉座に坐し給ひて世々に限なく活き給ふものに、光榮と尊崇と感謝とを歸し奉るに、
- 10 廿四人の翁、玉座に坐し給ふものの御前に平伏し、世々に限なく活き給ふものを禮拝し奉り、己が冠を玉座の前に投じつつ、
- 11 主にて在す我等の神よ、主こそは光榮と尊崇と能力とを受け給ふべけれ、其は御自ら萬物を創造し給ひ、萬物の存在にして創造せられしは御旨によればなり、と言ひ居れり。

Bible translated by E. Raguet. Emile Raguet(1854-1929) is a Belgian missionary. He came to Japan at 1879. He translated a New Tastament based on Vulgate into classical Japanese in 1910. His translation was treated as the semi-official Catholic translation in Japan.
