Acts 13
- 1 Antakya’daki cemaatte bazı peygamberler ve vaizler vardı. Bunlar Barnaba, Zenci Şimon, Kireneli Lukius, bölge kralı Hirodes’in sütkardeşi Menahem ve Saul’du.
- 2 Rab’be ibadet edip oruç tutarlarken Mukaddes Ruh şöyle dedi: “Barnaba’yla Saul’u özel bir hizmete çağırdım, onları bana ayırın.”
- 3 Böylece oruç tuttular ve dua ettiler. Sonra Barnaba’yla Saul’u takdis edip yolcu ettiler.
- 4 Mukaddes Ruh tarafından yola çıkarılan Barnaba ve Saul, Selefkiye şehrine gittiler. Oradan da gemiyle Kıbrıs’a geçtiler.
- 5 Salamis şehrine varınca Yahudi havralarında Allah’ın kelâmını vazettiler. Yardımcı olarak Yuhanna Markos da onlarla birlikteydi.
- 6 Adayı baştanbaşa geçerek Baf şehrine kadar geldiler. Orada büyücü ve sahte peygamber Baryeşu adında bir Yahudi’yle karşılaştılar.
- 7 Baryeşu, adanın valisi Sergius Pavlus’a yakın biriydi. Sergius Pavlus akıllı bir adamdı. Barnaba’yla Saul’u çağırttı ve Allah’ın kelâmını dinlemek istedi.
- 8 Fakat kendisine ‘Elimas’, yani büyücü dedirten Baryeşu, onlara karşı koydu. Valiyi iman etmekten caydırmaya çalıştı.
- 9 Fakat Saul, yani Pavlus, Mukaddes Ruh’la dolu olarak gözlerini Elimas’a dikti.
- 10 Şöyle dedi: “Ey İblisin oğlu! Sen her türlü hile ve sahtekârlıkla dolusun; doğru olan her şeyin düşmanısın. Rab’bin doğru yolunu eğri göstermekten vazgeçmeyecek misin?
- 11 İşte şimdi Rab cezanı verecek: kör olacaksın, bir süre gün ışığını göremeyeceksin.” Birdenbire Elimas’ın üzerine bir sis, bir karanlık çöktü. Etrafında elinden tutup kendisine yol gösterecek birilerini aramaya başladı.
- 12 Olanları gören vali, Rab hakkında öğretilenlere hayran kaldı ve iman etti.
- 13 Pavlus ve beraberindekiler Baf’tan denize açıldılar. Pamfilya bölgesindeki Perge şehrine geldiler. Yuhanna onları orada bırakıp Kudüs’e döndü.
- 14 Pavlus ve Barnaba Perge’den yollarına devam ettiler ve Pisidya Antakyası isimli şehre vardılar. Şabat Günü havraya gittiler.
- 15 Tevrat ve peygamberlerin yazılarından parçalar okunduktan sonra, havranın önderleri onlara, “Kardeşler, cemaate vaaz etmek istiyorsanız, buyurun gelin” dediler.
- 16 Pavlus ayağa kalktı, cemaatin dikkatini çekmek için bir el işareti yaptı; sonra şöyle dedi: “İsrailli soydaşlarım ve Allah’tan korkan yabancılar, dinleyin.
- 17 Biz İsraillilerin ibadet ettiği Allah atalarımızı kayırdı. Onlar Mısır’da yabancı olarak yaşadılar. Fakat Allah onları bu süre içinde büyük bir halk yaptı. Sonra güçlü eliyle onları Mısır’dan çıkardı.
- 18 Yaklaşık kırk yıl boyunca çölde onlara katlandı.
- 19 Kenan diyarındaki yedi halkı ortadan kaldırdı ve onların topraklarını İsrail halkına miras olarak verdi.
- 20 Bütün bunlar yaklaşık dört yüz elli yıl sürdü. “Bundan sonra Allah peygamber Samuel’in zamanına kadar onlara önderler yetiştirdi.
- 21 Fakat halk bir kral istedi. Allah onlara Benyamin aşiretinden Kiş oğlu Saul’u kral yaptı. Samuel ve Saul kırk yıl hüküm sürdü.
- 22 Sonra Allah Saul’u tahttan indirdi, Davud’u kral yaptı. Onunla ilgili şahitlikte bulundu: ‘İşay oğlu Davud’u gönlüme uygun bir adam olarak gördüm. O her istediğimi yapar.’
- 23 Allah vaadini yerine getirdi, Davud’un soyundan İsrail’e bir kurtarıcı, yani İsa’yı gönderdi.
- 24 İsa’nın gelişinden önce Yahya bütün İsrail halkını tövbe edip vaftiz olmaya çağırdı.
- 25 Yahya vazifesini tamamladı ve şöyle dedi: ‘Benim kim olduğumu sanıyorsunuz? Ben Mesih değilim. Fakat O benden sonra geliyor. Ben O’nun çarığının bağını çözmeye lâyık değilim.’
- 26 “Kardeşler, İbrahim’in soyundan gelenler ve Allah’tan korkan yabancılar, bu kurtuluş haberi bize verildi.
- 27 Kudüs’te yaşayanlar ve onların ileri gelenleri İsa’nın kim olduğunu anlamadılar. Her Şabat Günü okunan peygamberlerin sözlerini anlamadılar. Böylece İsa’yı mahkûm ederek bu sözleri yerine getirmiş oldular.
- 28 Ölüm cezasını gerektiren bir suç işlememişti; fakat Pilatus’tan O’nun idamını istediler.
- 29 O’nunla ilgili yazılanları yerine getirdikten sonra O’nu çarmıhtan indirdiler ve mezara koydular.
- 30 Fakat Allah O’nu ölümden diriltti.
- 31 İsa, Celile Bölgesi’nden Kudüs’e gelen şakirtlere günlerce göründü. Bu kişiler şimdi halka O’nun şahitliğini yapıyorlar.
- 32 “Biz de size bu müjdeyi getiriyoruz: Allah atalarımıza verdiği vaadi, onların torunları olan bizler için yerine getirdi. İsa’yı ölümden diriltti. İkinci Mezmur’da da yazıldığı gibi: ‘Sen benim oğlumsun, bugün ben sana Baba oldum.’
- 33 “Biz de size bu müjdeyi getiriyoruz: Allah atalarımıza verdiği vaadi, onların torunları olan bizler için yerine getirdi. İsa’yı ölümden diriltti. İkinci Mezmur’da da yazıldığı gibi: ‘Sen benim oğlumsun, bugün ben sana Baba oldum.’
- 34 “Allah İsa’yı asla çürümemek üzere ölümden dirilttiğini şöyle belirtmiştir: ‘Davud’a vaat ettiğim mukaddes nimetleri size vereceğim.’
- 35 “Başka bir Mezmur’da da şöyle der: ‘Sadık kulunu mezarda çürümeye bırakmayacaksın.’
- 36 “Davud yaşadığı çağda Allah’ın amacına hizmet etti. Sonra hayata gözlerini kapadı, atalarının yanına gömüldü ve mezarda çürüyüp gitti.
- 37 Fakat İsa Mesih mezarda çürümedi; Allah O’nu ölümden diriltti.
- 38 Kardeşler, şunu bilin, insanların günahları İsa sayesinde bağışlanacak. Musa’ya verilen şeriat sizi günahlarınızdan temizleyemez.
- 39 Fakat iman eden herkes İsa vasıtasıyla bütün günahlarından temizlenir.
- 40 Dikkat edin, peygamberlerin söyledikleri sizin başınıza gelmesin:
- 41 ‘Bakın, ey alaycılar, şaşkına dönün ve yok olun! Gününüzde öyle bir şey yapıyorum ki, biri size anlatsa inanmazsınız.’”
- 42 Pavlus’la Barnaba havradan ayrılırken halk onları bir sonraki Şabat Günü vaaz etmeye davet etti. Aynı konulardan bahsetmelerini istiyorlardı.
- 43 Havra cemaati dağılınca Yahudilerin ve Yahudi dinine dönüp Allah’a ibadet edenlerin birçoğu Pavlus’la Barnaba’ya katıldı. Pavlus’la Barnaba onlarla konuşup devamlı Allah’ın lütfu altında yaşamaya teşvik ettiler.
- 44 Bir sonraki Şabat Günü neredeyse bütün şehir ahalisi Rab’bin kelâmını dinlemek için toplanmıştı.
- 45 Yahudiler kalabalığı görünce çok kıskandılar. Pavlus’a hakaret ettiler, söylediklerine karşı çıktılar.
- 46 Fakat Pavlus ve Barnaba cesaretle karşılık verdiler: “Allah’ın kelâmını önce size bildirmemiz gerekiyordu. Fakat siz onu reddettiniz ve kendinizi ebedî hayata lâyık görmediniz. İşte bundan dolayı biz şimdi öteki halklara gidiyoruz.
- 47 Çünkü Rab bize şöyle emretmiştir: ‘Seni öteki halklara nur yaptım; öyle ki, dünyanın dört bucağına kurtuluş götüresin.’”
- 48 Öteki halklardan olanlar bunu duyunca sevindiler ve Rab’bin kelâmını yücelttiler. Birçokları iman etti. Bunlar ebedî hayata kavuşmak için tayin edilenlerdir.
- 49 Böylece Rab’bin kelâmı bütün bölgede yayıldı.
- 50 Fakat Yahudiler dindar ve muteber kadınları ve şehrin ileri gelen erkeklerini galeyana getirdiler, Pavlus’la Barnaba’ya karşı bir baskı hareketi başlatıp onları bölgenin dışına attılar.
- 51 Pavlus’la Barnaba onlara ikaz olsun diye ayaklarının tozunu silktiler ve Konya’ya gittiler.
- 52 Pisidya Antakyası’ndaki şakirtler ise sevinçle ve Mukaddes Ruh’la doluydu.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
