- 1 İsa ise Zeytin Dağı’na gitti.
- 2 Ertesi sabah erkenden yine mabede döndü. Cemaat toplanınca kalkıp vaaz etmeye başladı.
- 3 Din âlimleri ve Ferisiler, zina eden bir kadını getirdiler, orta yere çıkarıp İsa’ya şöyle sordular:
- 4 “Hoca, bu kadın zina ederken suçüstü yakalandı.
- 5 Musa Tevrat’ta böylelerini taşlayarak öldürmemizi emrediyor. Sen ne diyorsun?”
- 6 Bu soruyu İsa’yı zor duruma düşürmek için sormuşlardı. O’nu suçlayacak bir bahane arıyorlardı. İsa yere eğildi ve parmağıyla toprağa bir şeyler yazmaya başladı.
- 7 Yahudi önderler aynı soruyu durmadan tekrarladılar. Bunun üzerine İsa doğruldu ve şöyle dedi: “Aranızda günah işlememiş biri varsa ilk taşı o atsın!”
- 8 Ardından yine yere eğildi, toprağa yazmaya devam etti.
- 9 Din âlimleri ile Ferisiler bu sözü duyunca, en yaşlılarından başlayarak bir bir orayı terk ettiler, İsa’yı yalnız bıraktılar. Kadın orta yerde kalakaldı.
- 10 İsa tekrar doğruldu ve kadına, “Diğerleri nerede? Seni mahkûm eden olmadı mı?” diye sordu.
- 11 Kadın, “Hayır, Efendim” dedi. Bunun üzerine İsa, “Ben de seni mahkûm etmiyorum. Git ve artık günah işleme” dedi.
- 12 Bundan sonra İsa yeniden halka vaaz etmeye başladı; şöyle dedi: “Ben dünyanın ışığıyım. Peşimden gelen asla karanlıkta kalmaz, hayat veren ışığa kavuşur.”
- 13 Ancak Ferisiler İsa’ya, “Sen kendi kendine şahitlik ediyorsun. Şahitliğin kabul edilmez” dediler.
- 14 İsa onlara şöyle cevap verdi: “Kendi kendime şahitlik etsem bile şahitliğim doğrudur. Çünkü nereden geldiğimi ve nereye gideceğimi biliyorum. Fakat siz benim nereden geldiğimi ve nereye gideceğimi bilmiyorsunuz.
- 15 Siz insan aklıyla hüküm veriyorsunuz. Ben kimseye hükmetmem.
- 16 Ama hükmetsem bile benim hükmüm doğrudur. Çünkü ben yalnız değilim. Ben ve beni gönderen semavî Baba birlikte hükmederiz.
- 17 Allah Tevrat’ta açıkça emretti, iki şahit yeterlidir.
- 18 Ben kendime şahitlik ediyorum, bu bir; beni gönderen semavî Baba da bana şahitlik ediyor, bu da iki.”
- 19 O zaman İsa’ya, “Peki baban nerede?” diye sordular. İsa şu cevabı verdi: “Siz ne beni ne de semavî Babam’ı tanırsınız. Eğer beni tanısaydınız, semavî Babam’ı da tanırdınız.”
- 20 İsa bu sözleri mabet alanında vaaz ederken, bağışların toplandığı yerin yanında söyledi. Ancak hiç kimse O’nu yakalamaya kalkmadı. Çünkü henüz yakalanacağı saat gelmemişti.
- 21 İsa cemaate şöyle seslendi: “Ben aranızdan ayrılacağım. Beni arayacaksınız, fakat günah içinde öleceksiniz. Siz benim gideceğim yere gelemezsiniz.”
- 22 Bunun üzerine Yahudi önderler birbirlerine sordular, “Acaba kendini mi öldürecek? Bu yüzden mi ‘Benim gideceğim yere siz gelemezsiniz’ diyor?”
- 23 İsa şöyle devam etti: “Siz aşağıdansınız, bense yukarıdanım. Siz bu dünyaya aitsiniz, bense bu dünyaya ait değilim.
- 24 Bu yüzden ‘günah içinde öleceksiniz’ dedim. Ben ezelden beri varım. Buna iman etmezseniz, günahlarınız bağışlanmadan öleceksiniz.”
- 25 O’na, “Peki sen kimsin?” diye sordular. İsa şöyle cevap verdi: “En başından beri size ne dediysem O’yum.
- 26 Sizinle ilgili söyleyebileceğim çok şey var, sizi birçok konuda mahkûm edebilirim; fakat etmeyeceğim. Çünkü ben insanlara sadece beni gönderenden duyduklarımı iletiyorum. O yalnız hakikati söyler.”
- 27 İsa’nın kendilerine Allah’tan söz ettiğini anlamadılar.
- 28 Bunun için onlara açıkça şöyle dedi: “Beni yukarı kaldırdığınız zaman anlayacaksınız ki İnsanoğlu Ben’im. Hiçbir şeyi kendiliğimden yapmam, semavî Babam’ın bana öğrettiği gibi konuşurum.
- 29 Beni gönderen semavî Babam beni destekler. Ben daima O’nu hoşnut edeni yaparım. Bu yüzden beni desteksiz bırakmadı.”
- 30 İsa’nın bu sözlerini duyan birçok kişi O’na iman etti.
- 31 İsa kendisine iman eden Yahudilere şöyle dedi: “Benim sözüme itaat ederseniz hakikaten şakirtlerim olursunuz.
- 32 Hakikati bileceksiniz ve hakikat sizi hür kılacak.”
- 33 Yahudiler İsa’ya, “Biz İbrahim’in soyundanız, hiçbir zaman kimsenin kölesi olmadık. Nasıl olur da hür kalacağımızı söylersin?” dediler.
- 34 İsa şöyle cevap verdi: “Emin olun ki, günah işleyen, günahın kölesidir.
- 35 Hiçbir köle, ev halkının üyesi değildir. Fakat oğul, ailenin ebedî üyesidir.
- 36 Bu sebeple Oğul sizi hür kılarsa, gerçekten hür olursunuz.
- 37 İbrahim’in soyundan geldiğinizi biliyorum. Buna rağmen beni öldürmek istiyorsunuz. Çünkü kalbinizde sözüme yer vermiyorsunuz.
- 38 Ben size semavî Babam’ın huzurunda gördüklerimi anlatıyorum, sizse babanızdan duyduklarınızı yapıyorsunuz.”
- 39 Yahudiler İsa’ya, “Bizim babamız İbrahim’dir” diye cevap verdiler. İsa onlara şöyle dedi: “Eğer gerçekten İbrahim’in evlâtları olsaydınız, İbrahim gibi davranırdınız.
- 40 Oysa şimdi beni, Allah’ın emrettiği hakikati size bildiren kişiyi öldürmeye kalkıyorsunuz. İbrahim böyle yapmadı.
- 41 Siz babanızın yaptığını yapıyorsunuz.” Bunun üzerine İsa’ya, “Biz gayrimeşru çocuklar değiliz! Bizim tek bir babamız var, o da Allah’tır” dediler.
- 42 İsa şöyle karşılık verdi: “Eğer Allah babanız olsaydı, beni severdiniz. Çünkü ben Allah’tan geldim ve şimdi buradayım. Ben kendiliğimden gelmedim, beni O gönderdi.
- 43 Söylediklerimi neden anlamıyorsunuz? Çünkü sözümü dinlemeye tahammül edemiyorsunuz.
- 44 Sizin babanız İblis’tir, ona aitsiniz ve onun arzularını yerine getirmek istiyorsunuz. O başlangıçtan beri katildir. Hakikate daima karşı çıkmıştır, çünkü hakikatten mahrumdur. Yalan söylemekten zevk alır. Çünkü yalancıdır, yalanın babasıdır.
- 45 Ama ben hakikati söylediğim için bana inanmıyorsunuz.

- 49 İsa onlara şöyle dedi: “Beni cin çarpmadı. Ben yaptıklarımla semavî Babam’ı onurlandırıyorum, fakat siz beni aşağılıyorsunuz.
- 50 Ben kendimi yüceltmeye çalışmıyorum. Beni yüceltmek isteyen biri vardır ve asıl yargıç O’dur.
- 51 Emin olun, bir kimse sözüme itaat ederse ölümü asla tatmayacaktır.”
- 52 Yahudiler şöyle karşılık verdi: “Artık seni cin çarptığına eminiz! İbrahim de, peygamberlerin hepsi de öldüler. Fakat sen, ‘Bir kimse sözüme itaat ederse ölümü asla tatmayacaktır’ diyorsun.
- 53 Sen babamız İbrahim’den daha mı büyüksün? İbrahim de, peygamberler de öldüler. Sen kendini ne sanıyorsun?”
- 54 İsa şöyle dedi: “Eğer ben kendimi yüceltirsem bunun hiçbir kıymeti olmaz. Beni yücelten, Allahımız dediğiniz semavî Babam’dır.
- 55 Siz O’nu tanımıyorsunuz, fakat ben tanıyorum. Eğer O’nu tanımıyorum dersem, sizin gibi yalancı olurum. Fakat ben O’nu tanıyorum ve sözüne itaat ediyorum.
- 56 Atanız İbrahim benim geleceğim günü göreceği için sevinip coştu. Gördü ve sevindi.”

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
