- 2 Büyük bir kalabalık peşinden gidiyordu. Çünkü gösterdiği alâmetlere, yaptığı şifa mucizelerine şahit olmuşlardı.
- 3 İsa yüksek bir tepeye çıktı; şakirtleriyle birlikte yamaca oturdu.
- 4 Yahudilerin Fısıh Bayramı yaklaşıyordu.
- 5 İsa başını kaldırıp etrafına baktı, büyük bir kalabalığın kendisine doğru geldiğini gördü. Filipus’a, “Bütün bu insanları doyurmaya yetecek ekmeği nereden bulacağız?” diye sordu.
- 6 İsa bu soruyu, Filipus’u imtihan etmek için sormuştu. Kendisi ne yapacağını biliyordu.
- 7 Filipus İsa’ya şöyle cevap verdi: “İki yüz dinarlık ekmek bile her birinin birer lokma yemesine yetmez!”
- 8 Simun Petrus’un kardeşi ve İsa’nın şakirdi olan Andreas şöyle dedi:
- 9 “Şurada beş arpa ekmeğiyle iki balığı olan bir çocuk var. Fakat bunlar bu kadar insana yetmez ki!”
- 10 İsa onlara, “Herkese oturmasını söyleyin” dedi. Orası çayırlık bir bölgeydi. Böylece herkes yere oturdu. Sadece erkeklerin sayısı yaklaşık beş bin kadardı.
- 11 İsa ekmekleri alıp Allah’a şükretti. Sonra oturmuş yemek bekleyen insanlara dağıttı. Aynı şekilde balıklardan da istedikleri kadar verdi.
- 12 Herkes doyasıya yedi. İsa şakirtlerine, “Artakalan balık ve ekmek parçalarını toplayın. Hiçbir şey ziyan olmasın” dedi.
- 13 Bunun üzerine şakirtler artakalanları topladılar. İnsanlar yemeye başladıklarında sadece beş arpa ekmeği vardı. Ancak şakirtler, herkes yedikten sonra artakalan parçalarla on iki sepet doldurdular.
- 14 Halk İsa’nın yaptığı bu alâmeti gördükten sonra, “Dünyaya gelecek olan peygamber hakikaten budur” dedi.
- 15 İsa, halkın gelip kendisini zorla kral ilan edeceğini biliyordu. Bu yüzden oradan ayrıldı, tek başına yine tepeye çekildi.
- 16 Akşam olunca İsa’nın şakirtleri göl kıyısına indiler.
- 17 Hava kararmıştı, İsa henüz yanlarına gelmemişti. Bir tekneye bindiler, gölün karşı yakasındaki Kefarnahum şehrine doğru yol almaya başladılar.
- 18 Şiddetli bir rüzgâr esiyordu, gölde dalgalar giderek büyüdü.
- 19 Yaklaşık beş kilometre kürek çektikten sonra İsa’nın gölün üzerinde yürüyerek tekneye yaklaştığını gördüler, korkuya kapıldılar.
- 20 İsa onlara, “Korkmayın, benim!” diye seslendi.
- 21 Bunun üzerine şakirtler İsa’yı sevinçle tekneye aldılar. Tekne hemen o anda gitmek istedikleri kıyıya ulaştı.
- 22 Gölün karşı yakasında kalan halk ertesi gün, önceden kıyıda tek bir tekne bulunduğunu hatırladı. İsa’nın şakirtleriyle birlikte o tekneye binmediğini, şakirtlerinin O’nsuz gittiğini anladı.
- 23 Önceki gün İsa’nın şükretmesinin ardından yemek yedikleri yerin yakınına, Taberiye şehrinden gelen başka tekneler yanaştı.
- 24 İsa’nın ve şakirtlerinin orada olmadığını görünce o teknelere bindiler, İsa’yı aramak üzere Kefarnahum’a gittiler.
- 25 Halk İsa’yı gölün karşı yakasında buldu. O’na, “Hocam, buraya ne zaman geldin?” diye sordular.
- 26 İsa şu cevabı verdi: “Size doğrusunu söyleyeyim, yaptığım alâmetleri gördüğünüz için değil, yemek yiyip doyduğunuz için beni arıyorsunuz.
- 27 Yok olup giden dünyevî yiyecek için değil, ebedî hayat sağlayan yiyecek için çalışın. Bunu size İnsanoğlu olarak ben vereceğim. Çünkü semavî Baba Allah bana bu yetkiyi verdi.”
- 28 Halk İsa’ya sordu: “Ne yapmalıyız? Allah’ın bizden beklediği ameller nedir?”
- 29 İsa cevap verdi: “Allah’ın sizden beklediği amel, O’nun gönderdiği kişiye iman etmenizdir.”
- 30 Bunun üzerine halk şöyle dedi: “Sana iman etmemiz için bize nasıl bir alâmet göstereceksin? Ne yapacaksın?
- 31 Atalarımız çölde man yediler. Zebur’da yazılmış olduğu gibi, ‘Yemeleri için onlara gökten ekmek verdi.’”
- 32 İsa onlara dedi ki, “Emin olun, o gün gökten ekmeği Musa vermedi. Gökten hakiki ekmeği semavî Babam verir.
- 33 Allah’ın ekmeği, semadan inen ve dünyaya hayat veren ekmektir.”
- 34 O zaman İsa’ya, “Efendimiz, bize her zaman bu ekmeği ver” dediler.
- 35 İsa onlara şöyle dedi: “Hayat veren ekmek Ben’im. Bana gelen asla acıkmaz, bana iman eden asla susamaz.
- 36 Ama size söyledim, beni ve yaptığım alâmetleri gördünüz, yine de iman etmiyorsunuz.
- 37 Semavî Babam’ın bana verdiği herkes bana gelecek, bana geleni asla geri çevirmem.
- 38 Çünkü ben kendi isteğimi değil, beni gönderen Allah’ın isteğini yerine getirmek için semadan indim.
- 39 Beni gönderenin isteği, bana vermiş olduğu insanların hiçbirini kaybetmemem, Kıyamet gününde hepsini diriltmemdir.
- 40 Çünkü semavî Babam’ın isteği, semavî Oğul’u gören ve O’na iman eden herkesin ebedî hayata kavuşmasıdır. Böylelerini Kıyamet gününde dirilteceğim.”
- 41 “Gökten inmiş olan ekmek Ben’im” dediği için oradaki Yahudiler İsa’ya karşı söylenmeye başladılar.
- 42 “Yusuf’un oğlu İsa değil mi bu? Annesini de babasını da tanıyoruz. Şimdi nasıl oluyor da, gökten indiğini söylüyor?” dediler.
- 43 İsa onlara şöyle cevap verdi: “Kendi aranızda söylenmeyi bırakın.
- 44 Beni gönderen semavî Babam bir kimsenin kalbini bana döndürmedikçe o kimse bana gelemez. Bana gelenleri Kıyamet gününde dirilteceğim.
- 45 Peygamberlerin kitaplarında şöyle yazılıdır: ‘Allah hepsini hidayete erdirecektir.’ Semavî Baba’yı işiten ve hidayete eren herkes bana gelir.
- 46 Bu, bir kimsenin semavî Baba’yı gördüğü anlamına gelmez. Semavî Baba’yı sadece Allah’tan gelen görmüştür.
- 47 Emin olun, iman edenin ebedî hayatı vardır.
- 48 Hayat veren ekmek Ben’im.
- 49 Atalarınız çölde man yemelerine rağmen öldüler.
- 50 Ama semadan inen öyle bir ekmek var ki, ondan yiyen ölmeyecek.
- 51 Semadan inmiş olan hayat ekmeği Ben’im. Bu ekmekten yiyen ebediyen yaşayacaktır. Vereceğim ekmek benim kendi bedenimdir. İnsanlar bunun sayesinde ebedî hayata kavuşacaklar.”
- 52 Bu sözler üzerine Yahudiler kendi aralarında tartışmaya başladılar. “Bu adam yememiz için bedenini bize nasıl verebilir?” dediler.
- 53 İsa onlara şöyle dedi: “Emin olun, İnsanoğlu’nun bedenini yemeden ve kanını içmeden ebedî hayata sahip olamazsınız.
- 54 Bedenimi yiyip kanımı içen kişi ebedî hayata kavuşur. Ben onu Kıyamet gününde dirilteceğim.
- 55 Benim bedenim hakiki yiyecektir; kanım da hakiki içecektir.

56 Bedenimi yiyip kanımı içen benim sayemde yaşar, ben de onun hayatında yaşarım.

- 59 İsa bu sözleri, Kefarnahum’daki havrada vazederken söyledi.

- 65 “Size, ‘Semavî Babam’ın bana sevk etmediği hiç kimse bana gelemez’ dememin sebebi budur” dedi.

- 70 İsa şöyle karşılık verdi: “Siz on iki havariyi ben seçmedim mi? Buna rağmen içinizden biri İblis’tendir!”
- 71 İsa, Simun İskariyot’un oğlu Yahuda’dan söz ediyordu. Yahuda, on iki havariden biri olduğu halde İsa’ya ihanet edecekti.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
