- 1 Když Ježíš dokončil všechna tato slova, řekl svým učedníkům:
- 2 „Víte, že za dva dny jsou velikonoce, a Syn člověka bude vydán, aby byl ukřižován.“
- 3 Tehdy se sešli velekněží a starší lidu ve dvoře velekněze, který se jmenoval Kaifáš,
- 4 a uradili se, že se Ježíš zmocní lstí a že ho zabijí.
- 5 Říkali: „Jen ne při svátečním shromáždění, aby se lid nebouřil.“
- 6 Když byl Ježíš v Betanii v domě Šimona Malomocného,
- 7 přišla za ním žena, která měla alabastrovou nádobku drahocenného oleje, a vylila ji na jeho hlavu, jak seděl u stolu.
- 8 Když to viděli učedníci, hněvali se: „Nač taková ztráta?
- 9 Mohlo se to prodat za mnoho peněz a ty dát chudým!“
- 10 Ježíš to zpozoroval a řekl jim: „Proč trápíte tu ženu? Vykonala dobrý skutek.
- 11 Vždyť chudé máte stále kolem sebe, mne však nemáte stále.
- 12 Když vylila ten olej na mé tělo, učinila to k mému pohřbu.
- 13 Amen, pravím vám, všude, po celém světě, kde bude kázáno toto evangelium, bude se mluvit na její památku o tom, co ona učinila.“
- 14 Tehdy šel jeden z dvanácti, jménem Jidáš Iškariotský, k velekněžím
- 15 a řekl: „Co mi dáte? Já vám ho zradím.“ Oni mu určili třicet stříbrných.
- 16 Od té chvíle hledal vhodnou příležitost, aby ho zradil.
- 17 Prvního dne o svátcích nekvašených chlebů přišli učedníci za Ježíšem a řekli: „Kde chceš, abychom ti připravili velikonoční večeři?“
- 18 On je poslal do města k jistému člověku, aby mu řekli: „Mistr vzkazuje: Můj čas je blízko, u tebe budu jíst se svými učedníky velikonočního beránka.“
- 19 Učedníci učinili, jak jim Ježíš nařídil, a připravili velikonočního beránka.
- 20 Navečer usedl s Dvanácti ke stolu,
- 21 a když jedli, řekl jim: „Amen, pravím vám, že jeden z vás mne zradí.“
- 22 Velice je to zarmoutilo a začali se ho jeden po druhém ptát: „Snad to nejsem já, Pane?“
- 23 On odpověděl: „Kdo se mnou omočil ruku v míse, ten mě zradí.
- 24 Syn člověka sice odchází, jak je o něm psáno; ale běda tomu, který Syna člověka zrazuje. Pro toho by bylo lépe, kdyby se byl vůbec nenarodil!“
- 25 Na to řekl Jidáš, který ho zrazoval: „Jsem to snad já, Mistře?“ Řekl mu: „Ty sám jsi to řekl.“

26 Když jedli, vzal Ježíš chléb, požehnal, lámal a dával učedníkům se slovy: „Vezměte, jezte, toto jest mé tělo.“

- 28 Neboť toto jest má krev, která zpečeťuje smlouvu a prolévá se za mnohé na odpuštění hříchů.
- 29 Pravím vám, že již nebudu pít z tohoto plodu vinné révy až do toho dne, kdy budu s vámi pít kalich nový v království svého Otce.“
- 30 Potom zazpívali chvalozpěv a vyšli na Olivovou horu.
- 31 Tu jim Ježíš řekl: „Vy všichni ode mne této noci odpadnete, neboť jest psáno: ‚Budu bít pastýře a rozprchnou se ovce stáda.‘
- 32 Po svém vzkříšení však vás předejdu do Galileje.“
- 33 Na to mu řekl Petr: „Kdyby všichni od tebe odpadli, já nikdy ne!“
- 34 Ježíš mu odpověděl: „Amen, pravím ti, že ještě této noci, dřív než kohout zakokrhá, třikrát mě zapřeš.“
- 35 Petr prohlásil: „I kdybych měl s tebou umřít, nezapřu tě.“ Podobně mluvili všichni učedníci.
- 36 Tu s nimi Ježíš přišel na místo zvané Getsemane a řekl učedníkům: „Počkejte zatím zde, já půjdu dál, abych se modlil.“
- 37 Vzal s sebou Petra a oba syny Zebedeovy; tu na něho padl zármutek a úzkost.
- 38 Tehdy jim řekl: „Má duše je smutná až k smrti. Zůstaňte zde a bděte se mnou!“
- 39 Poodešel od nich, padl tváří k zemi a modlil se: „Otče můj, je-li možné, ať mne mine tento kalich; avšak ne jak já chci, ale jak ty chceš.“
- 40 Potom přišel k učedníkům a zastihl je v spánku. Řekl Petrovi: „To jste nemohli jedinou hodinu bdít se mnou?
- 41 Bděte a modlete se, abyste neupadli do pokušení. Váš duch je odhodlán, ale tělo slabé.“
- 42 Odešel podruhé a modlil se: „Otče můj, není-li možné, aby mne tento kalich minul, a musím-li jej pít, staň se tvá vůle.“
- 43 A když se vrátil, zastihl je opět spící; nemohli oči udržet.
- 44 Nechal je, zase odešel a potřetí se modlil stejnými slovy.
- 45 Potom přišel k učedníkům a řekl jim: „Ještě spíte a odpočíváte? Hle, přiblížila se hodina, a Syn člověka je vydáván do rukou hříšníků.
- 46 Vstaňte, pojďme! Hle, přiblížil se ten, který mě zrazuje!“
- 47 Ještě ani nedomluvil a přišel Jidáš, jeden z dvanácti. Velekněží a starší s ním poslali zástup, ozbrojený meči a holemi.
- 48 Jeho zrádce s nimi domluvil znamení: „Koho políbím, ten to je; toho zatkněte.“
- 49 A hned přistoupil k Ježíšovi a řekl: „Buď zdráv, Mistře“, a políbil ho.
- 50 Ježíš mu odpověděl: „Příteli, konej svůj úkol!“ Tu přistoupili k Ježíšovi, vztáhli na něho ruce a zmocnili se ho.
- 51 Jeden z těch, kdo byli s ním, sáhl po meči, napadl veleknězova sluhu a uťal mu ucho.
- 52 Ježíš mu řekl: „Vrať svůj meč na jeho místo; všichni, kdo se chápou meče, mečem zajdou.
- 53 Či myslíš, že bych nemohl poprosit svého Otce, a poslal by mi ihned víc než dvanáct legií andělů?
- 54 Ale jak by se potom splnila Písma, že to tak musí být?“
- 55 V té hodině řekl Ježíš zástupům: „Vyšli jste na mne jako na povstalce s meči a holemi, abyste mě zajali. Denně jsem sedával v chrámě a učil, a nezmocnili jste se mne.
- 56 Toto všechno se však stalo, aby se splnilo, co psali proroci.“ A tu ho všichni učedníci opustili a utekli.
- 57 Ti, kteří Ježíše zatkli, odvedli ho k veleknězi Kaifášovi, kde se shromáždili zákoníci a starší.
- 58 Petr šel za ním zpovzdálí až do veleknězova dvora; vstoupil dovnitř a posadil se mezi sluhy, aby viděl konec.
- 59 Velekněží a celá rada hledali křivé svědectví proti Ježíšovi, aby ho mohli odsoudit k smrti.
- 60 Ale nenalezli, ačkoli předstupovalo mnoho křivých svědků. Konečně přišli dva
- 61 a vypovídali: „On řekl: Mohu zbořit chrám a ve třech dnech jej vystavět.“
- 62 Tu velekněz vstal a řekl mu: „Nic neodpovídáš na to, co tihle proti tobě svědčí?“
- 63 Ale Ježíš mlčel. A velekněz mu řekl: „Zapřísahám tě při Bohu živém, abys nám řekl, jsi-li Mesiáš, Syn Boží!“
- 64 Ježíš odpověděl: „Ty sám jsi to řekl. Ale pravím vám, od nynějška uzříte Syna člověka sedět po pravici Všemohoucího a přicházet s oblaky nebeskými.“
- 65 Tu velekněz roztrhl svá roucha a řekl: „Rouhal se! Nač ještě potřebujeme svědky? Hle, teď jste slyšeli rouhání!
- 66 Co o tom soudíte?“ Jejich výrok zněl: „Je hoden smrti.“
- 67 Pak mu plivali do obličeje, bili ho po hlavě, někteří ho tloukli do tváře
- 68 a říkali: „Hádej, Mesiáši, kdo tě udeřil!“
- 69 Petr seděl venku v nádvoří. Tu k němu přistoupila jedna služka a řekla: „I ty jsi byl s tím Galilejským Ježíšem!“
- 70 A on přede všemi zapřel: „Nevím, co mluvíš.“
- 71 Vyšel k bráně, ale uviděla ho jiná a řekla těm, kdo tam byli: „Tenhle byl s tím Nazaretským Ježíšem.“
- 72 On znovu zapřel s přísahou: „Neznám toho člověka.“
- 73 Ale zakrátko přistoupili ti, kdo tam stáli, a řekli Petrovi: „Jistě i ty jsi jeden z nich, vždyť i tvé nářečí tě prozrazuje!“
- 74 Tu se začal zaklínat a zapřísahat: „Neznám toho člověka.“ V tom zakokrhal kohout;
- 75 tu se Petr rozpomněl na slova, která mu Ježíš řekl: ‚Dříve než kohout zakokrhá, třikrát mě zapřeš.‘ Vyšel ven a hořce se rozplakal.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
