- 3 İsa onlara, “Yolculukta yanınıza değnek, erzak torbası, yiyecek ya da para almayın. Yedek gömlek bile götürmeyin.
- 4 Bir yere gittiğinizde, oradan ayrılana kadar aynı evde kalın.

- 7 Celile bölgesini yöneten Hirodes bütün bu olanları duyunca şaşkına döndü. Çünkü bazı insanlar Yahya’nın ölümden dirildiğini söylüyordu.
- 8 Bazıları da İlyas’ın göründüğünü, başkaları da eski peygamberlerden birinin dirildiğini söylüyordu.
- 9 Hirodes ise, “Yahya’nın başını ben kestirdim; peki, hakkında böyle haberler duyduğum bu adam kim?” diyor ve İsa’yı görmenin yollarını arıyordu.
- 10 Havariler dönünce İsa’ya seyahatlerinde bütün yaptıklarını anlattılar. Sonra İsa onları Beytsayda denilen bir şehre götürdü. Burada onlarla yalnız kalmak istiyordu.
- 11 Fakat halk bunu öğrenip O’nun peşine düştü. İsa halkı hoş karşıladı ve Allah’ın Hükümranlığı’ndan söz edip şifaya muhtaç olanları iyileştirdi.
- 12 Akşama doğru on iki havari İsa’ya gelip şöyle dediler: “İnsanlara söyle de dağılsınlar. Burası tenha bir yer. Gidip çevre köylerde ve çiftliklerde kendilerine yiyecek ve yatacak yer bulsunlar.”
- 13 Fakat İsa şakirtlerine, “Onlara siz yiyecek verin” dedi. Şakirtler, “Bizde sadece beş ekmek ve iki balık var. Yoksa bizim gidip bu kadar insana yiyecek almamızı mı istiyorsun?” dediler.
- 14 Orada yaklaşık beş bin erkek vardı. İsa şakirtlerine, “Kalabalığı ellişer kişilik kümeler halinde oturtun” dedi.
- 15 Şakirtler de denileni yaptılar ve herkesi yere oturttular.
- 16 İsa beş ekmeği ve iki balığı alıp gökyüzüne baktı, Allah’a şükretti. Sonra bunları böldü ve halka dağıtmaları için şakirtlerine verdi.
- 17 Herkes doyana kadar yedi, bir sürü de yiyecek arttı. Artakalan yiyecekler on iki sepet doldurdu.
- 18 Bir gün İsa tek başına dua ederken şakirtleri O’na yaklaştı. İsa onlara, “Halk benim kim olduğumu söylüyor?” diye sordu.
- 19 Şöyle cevap verdiler: “Vaftizci Yahya diyorlar. Bazılarıysa İlyas diyor. Kimi de senin dirilmiş olan eski bir peygamber olduğunu söylüyor.”
- 20 Bunun üzerine İsa onlara, “Peki sizce ben kimim?” diye sordu. Petrus ona, “Sen Allah’ın Mesihi’sin” dedi.
- 21 İsa bunu kimseye söylememeleri için onları tembihledi.
- 22 Sonra İsa şöyle dedi: “İnsanoğlu’nun çok acı çekmesi gerekiyor. İleri gelenler, başrahipler ve din âlimleri O’nu reddedecekler. Öldürülecek, fakat üç gün sonra dirilecek.”
- 23 İsa sonra herkese dedi ki, “Peşimden gelmek isteyen kendinden vazgeçsin. Günbegün çarmıhını omuzlayıp beni takip etsin.
- 24 Canını kurtarmak isteyen onu kaybedecek, fakat canını benim uğruma feda eden onu kurtaracaktır.
- 25 İnsan bütün dünyaya sahip olsa, fakat canını kaybetse, helâk olsa, ne kazanır?
- 26 Benden ve vazettiklerimden utanmayın. Utanırsanız, İnsanoğlu olarak kendi ihtişamımla ve Allah’ın mukaddes meleklerinin ihtişamıyla geldiğimde ben de sizlerden utanacağım.
- 27 Hakikat şu ki, buradakilerden bazıları, ölmeden önce Allah’ın Hükümranlığı’nı görecekler.”
- 28 İsa bunları söyledikten yaklaşık sekiz gün sonra Petrus, Yuhanna ve Yakub’u yanına aldı, dua etmek için dağa çıktı.
- 29 İsa dua ederken yüzünün görünümü değişti. Elbisesi göz kamaştırıcı bir beyazlığa büründü.
- 30 Birden yanında iki adam belirdi, İsa’yla konuşmaya başladılar. Bunlar Musa ve İlyas’tı.
- 31 Görünüşleri muhteşemdi. İsa’nın yakında Kudüs’te ölüp dirileceğini ve semaya yükseleceğini konuşuyorlardı.
- 32 Petrus ve diğerleri uykuya dalmıştı. Fakat uyandıklarında İsa’nın ihtişamını ve yanında duran iki adamı gördüler.
- 33 Musa ve İlyas İsa’nın yanından ayrılmak üzereydi. Petrus İsa’ya, “Üstat, iyi ki buradayız. Üç çardak kuralım; biri sana, biri Musa’ya biri de İlyas’a” dedi. Aslında ne dediğinin farkında değildi.
- 34 Petrus bu sözleri söylerken bir bulut geldi, onları gölgeledi. Petrus, Yuhanna ve Yakub, bulut etraflarını sarınca korkuya kapıldılar.
- 35 Allah buluttan seslendi, “Bu benim semavî Oğlum’dur, seçilmiş Olan’dır. O’na itaat edin!” dedi.
- 36 Ses kesildiğinde orada sadece İsa bulunuyordu. Petrus, Yuhanna ve Yakub bu olay hakkında hiçbir şey demediler. Uzun bir süre de kimseye gördüklerini anlatmadılar.
- 37 Ertesi gün İsa, Petrus, Yuhanna ve Yakub dağdan indiler. İsa’yı büyük bir kalabalık karşıladı.

- 39 Zaman zaman cine tutuluyor, aniden bağırmaya başlıyor, çırpınıyor, ağzından köpükler çıkıyor. Cin onu yara bere içinde bırakıyor; ondan güç bela ayrılıyor.
- 40 Şakirtlerine oğlumdan cini çıkarmaları için yalvardım, fakat yapamadılar” dedi.
- 41 Bunun üzerine İsa şöyle dedi: “Sizi imansız ve sapmış nesil! Sizinle daha ne kadar kalmam lazım, size daha ne kadar katlanmam lazım? Oğlunu buraya getir!”
- 42 Çocuk gelirken cin onu yere fırlattı, şiddetle sarstı. Fakat İsa cini azarlayıp çocuğu şifaya kavuşturdu, sonra babasına geri verdi.
- 43 Herkes Allah’ın muhteşem kudretine şaşıp kaldı. Herkes İsa’nın yaptıklarına şaşakaldı. Bu arada İsa şakirtlerine,
- 44 “Size şimdi söyleyeceklerimi iyi dinleyin” dedi. “İnsanoğlu ihanete uğrayacak.”
- 45 Fakat şakirtler ne demek istediğini anlamadılar. Çünkü bu sözlerin anlamı onlara kapalıydı, ne olduğunu kavrayamamışlardı. İsa’ya bu söz hakkında soru sormaya da korkuyorlardı.
- 46 İsa’nın havarileri aralarından hangisinin en büyük olduğunu tartışmaya başladı.
- 47 Onların akıllarından ne geçtiğini bilen İsa küçük bir çocuğu alıp yanına çekti.
- 48 Havarilerine, “Kim bu çocuğu benim adıma kabul ederse beni de kabul etmiş olur. Ve beni kabul eden kişi beni gönderen Allah’ı kabul etmiş olur. Aranızda en önemsiz görünen, en büyüktür” dedi.
- 49 Yuhanna buna karşılık, “Üstat senin adınla cin çıkaran birini gördük. Onu engellemeye çalıştık, çünkü bizden biri değildir” dedi.
- 50 İsa, “Ona engel olmayın, çünkü size karşı olmayan, sizden yanadır” dedi.
- 51 İsa’nın semaya alınacağı zaman yaklaşmıştı; İsa Kudüs’e gitmeye kararlıydı.
- 52 Önünden haberciler yolladı. Bunlar İsa için hazırlık yapmak amacıyla Samiriye’nin bir köyüne gittiler.
- 53 Fakat halk İsa’yı iyi karşılamadı, çünkü Kudüs’e gitmekte olduğunu biliyorlardı.
- 54 Şakirtlerden Yakub ve Yuhanna bunu görünce İsa’ya, “Efendimiz, bir emirle gökten ateş yağdırıp bu insanları yok etmemizi ister misin?” diye sordular.
- 55 Fakat İsa dönüp onları azarladı.
- 56 Sonra başka bir köye gittiler.
- 57 Yolda giderlerken bir adam İsa’ya, “Nereye gidersen seni takip edeceğim” dedi.
- 58 İsa, “Tilkilerin ini, kuşların yuvası var. Fakat İnsanoğlu’nun başını yaslayacak yeri yok” dedi.
- 59 İsa bir başkasına, “Beni takip et!” dedi. Fakat adam, “İzin ver, babam ölene kadar bekleyeyim” dedi.
- 60 İsa da adama, “Bırak ölüleri, ölülerini kendileri gömsünler. Sen git Allah’ın Hükümranlığı’nı duyur” dedi.
- 61 Başka bir adam da İsa’ya, “Ben seni takip edeceğim, Efendim” dedi. “Fakat önce izin ver de aileme veda edeyim.”
- 62 İsa ise adama, “Tarlayı sürmeye başlayan ileri bakmalı; geriye bakan, Allah’ın Hükümranlığı’na lâyık değildir” dedi.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
